Hina is a daughter of a Demon Slayer who was killed by Muzan she lost all of her family and took her father's stuff and killed demons in his name until Kyojuro saved her and noticed that she was a girl all along!!!
Hina has no parents left. They where killed by a demon. Her father was one of the Demon Slayers that worked under the Flame Pillar known as Kyojuro Rengoku. He was not aware of the passing of Hina's father. For all he knows he was alive he literally didn't know he had a daughter either. From the day her parents was killed Hina promised to kill the demon. No one can stop her, she took her father's clothes and wore them and pretends to be him, Yashina Horikie her father. From that day she sworn to get revenge for her parents. Killing every demon she seeing eventually killing more than 30 demons and having plans to take down the all power demon, Muzan Kibutsuji. On her journey to hunt him down, She found Tanjiro and the group but being a fight happy girl she went one her own, which turned out to be a bad idea. A demon sooned over powered her, "You! Yashina! The one who killed my sister. I'll end you here and now!!!" Hina let out a scream and fainted as the large demon held her up in the air, before her vision fades she saw a blzae of fire in front of her and a voice shouting a attack. "UNHAND THAT FELLOW FIRE FLAME BREATHER DEMON! FLAME BREATHING FIRST FORM: UNKNOWING FIRE!!!" After the attack the demon was killed and Hina fell to the ground. Her eyes open for a second and she sees a guy with blazing hair. Then her eyes shut again. Before she knew it she woke in a place she has never seen before. She looked around and saw her clothes hanging on the wall.
Flash back
"Hey mister Yashina wake up buddy." Kyojuro said shaking the sleeping figure before him, he still things that the figure is a HE in reality it's a SHE. A girl, Yashina's daughter. He stood up and looked around. "Damn!!! I can't leave him here a demon could get him. It would be a betrayal of friendship if I leave him for dead." He said as he leans down to pick up the figure. Hina-chan the girl who is pretending to be her late father. He looked down at her. "Something doesn't feel right here. But I don't know what it even is. Could this really be Yashina. He had shorter hair and.... he didn't have.... flushed cheeks. Could this be a girl... NAH my mind is just playing tricks on me." He smiled and walked back to his place. He changed what he believed to be Yashina to a more comfortable outfit but, he was in for a surprise. Yashina was dead and the Demon Slayer he saved was a girl!!! He smiled and changed her quickly and payed no mind to her and the woman body. "There that should keep her warm." He left to let her sleep to alert the other Pillars that he'll be housing the daughter of Yashina. Of course the Pillars didn't think it was a good idea but on the other hand Kagaya just let it happen cause Yashina was a strong Slayer and a great father to his child.
End of flashback
Hina stood up and saw she was wearing something different. A whit outfit, without thinking she changed back to her father's outfit. She took it and the sword, she cried holding the blade in her hand. "Who is the red flame of passion now father. Not me... That was you... my father I swear on my life I will kill Muzan and make you and momma proud. I promise.... big sister, mom, dad. I will fight for you! Cause my..... my.....my.... My heart's a ball of burnin' flame!!!" She said setting the sword down. She smiled and changed quickly setting the sword on her belt. She went to the door and she was about to open it when she heard two voices. One sounded like the guy who saved her while the other voice seemed calm and relaxing, and with a certain amount of piece to it. Hina opened the door to see the two of them. "Oh Miss. Horikie you are awake! Hiya my namd is Kyojuro and this man is Kagaya. I told him about me saving you and he wants to meet the daughter of the famed Yashina!" Kyojuro said smiling widely.

"So you knew my father Kyojuro...?" Hina asked slowly stepping closer to the two of them, honestly she was scared at this point. Taken to a new place, with new people claiming to know her father. It was just too much for her to take in all at once. She felt confused but despite that she still spoke. "So can I take my father's place and be a demon slayer?" She asked expecting to be turned down but instead Kagaya gave her the answer she wanted, "Sure you can. But You'd be required to train under Mister Rengoku here, You possibly know alot from your father but. BUT you need to learn more of the Flame Breathing and the only possible way for you to learn is if you study under him. You may stay here as long as you need. We are in no hurry to get rid of you... in fact Yashina was a close friend of Rengoku's family and it's only proper for you to study with Kyojuro. I trust you have this under control here, I'll leave you two alone." He smiled and left shutting the door leaving me and Kyojuro in the room looking at each other. "So..... I'm going to train under you that's cool. I'll work so hard on becoming like my father!!! For I am the RED FLAME OF PASSION!!!!" She said standing up tall leaving Kyojuro laughing and then giving the girl a head pat. "Yeah! I'm sure you'll be as good as Yashina!"
From that day onward Hina trained hard and fighting demons along side Kyojuro. Using the Flame Breathing has been getting easier for her, and she had killed even more demons, making her dead parents and siblings proud of her but yet she's still not happy, She still hasn't killed Muzan yet and that made her cry. On the walk back she fell behind and cried on the road. Having to have Kyojuro try to make her happy. She was soon pulled into as hug and she cried on him her hands gripping his clothes. "Why haven't I found him yet, Kyo. Why haven't I found Muzan yet. He killed my father I can't go on without a family!!!" His eyes widened and kept hugging the girl. "Don't worry Hina.... I'll be your new family for now on."
