It's been three days since Astrid found out about what could happen to the baby and she needed to tell Hiccup since he is the father and he deserves to know
She made her way to his house and soon found herself standing at the door, she took a deep breath and knocked but the door swung open as Hiccup was about to walk out "oh? Hi babe, are you okay, how was the test" he asked with a smile "she said it was too early to tell so I need to go back next month and see her gain and she will have the results then if we are having a baby or not" she said trying to fake a smile but Hiccup noticed
"What else, I wanna know everything she said" he said, Astrid bit her lip and sighed "she said......if do too much then I can kill the baby" she said, Hiccups eyes went as wide as rocks, he wrapped his arms round her and she cried into his armour, he stroked her hair and tried to calm her down "its okay, it's okay.......you're going to be fine and so is the baby, stay here with my mother until you see Gothi again okay" Astrid nodded and he smiled, he kissed her forehead and placed a hand on her cheek
"Ill be doing chief duties for the day and ill be back before dark so I will see you at dinner" he said as he walked over to toothless and they flew away
Astrid walked into the house and saw Valka holding Stoick's belt from when he first became chief "you okay valka?" she asked as she closed the door behind her "yes dear, just miss Stoick is all" she replied, Astrid went over to her and knelt in front of her
"I know how you feel, when I lost my parents I missed them even to this day but I know they're still with me at heart" Astrid said giving her a warming heart filled smile valka returned it and sighed "I just wish he knew how far Hiccup has come and about the village"
"If only he knew"
