Escape The Dead

Chapter 28- John & Jill

It was dark, everyone in the helicopter was asleep, except for Johnny, since he's piloting the thing. Jillian was also awake, she turned from side to side unable to sleep. She glanced around seeing everyone out like daylight. Jillian got up and looked at the back of Johnny's head. She walked up and stood behind the pilot seat where Johnny is sitting.

"Can't sleep?" He asked.

"No." Jillian stared off into the night sky, admiring the bright stars. "Do you always pilot?"

"Not always, but mostly. I'm the one who knows more about aircrafts. I always wanted to be a pilot when I grow up."

"Hey! How about I take over? You seem like you could use a break," Jillian beamed.

"I'm not sure. Gina told me the story of how you crashed the car."

"That blabber mouth," Jillian huffed.

Johnny chuckled. "I guess I could use a break." Johnny pushed the green autopilot button.

"You have autopilot and yet do didn't use it for the past hours?"

"Hey, I like to feel the helicopter," Johnny smiled, letting go of the control lever placing both of his hands behind his head.

"Well, forget about the helicopter, cause right now I like to feel you," Jillian said.

Johnny shook his. "F-feel, me? Wait? What?"

Jillian walked around and sat on Johnny's lap while resting her head in the crook of his neck. Johnny blinked a couple of times while a flush of red sneaked up on his face. Jillian snuggled closer as Johnny wrapped his arms around Jillian's waist.

"Um... Ok."

Johnny was at a lost of words. He always wanted to have a thing with Jillian, always wanted to asked her out but was too much of a coward. Jillian looked up at him, their face was only inches apart.

'Ok. She's right there, make your move, John' Johnny mentally screamed at himself. 'Come on, this is your chance. Just kiss her already!' Johnny stared into Jillian's brilliant blue eyes as they sparkled.

"John?"

Johnny snapped out of his trance. 'It's now or never. Everyone is asleep, it's just you and Jill'

Johnny finally made his move. He placed one hand on Jillian's cheek and brought her closer. Their lips touched, sparks exploded in between. Johnny's heart raced like it was about to leap out of his chest. Jillian wrapped her arms around his neck bringing him closer as the kiss deepened. The atmosphere was warm and free. Jillian's soft lips were slightly parted and pressed lightly against his.

'Oh. My. God. I'm kissing Jill! I'm finally kissing Jill. Her lips taste so sweet, kind of like mint. Maybe she had some gum' Johnny thought.

They don't know how long they'd kiss but when they broke apart, their chest was burning and they were both breathless.

"You have no idea how long I've been waiting for you to do that," Jillian smiled.

"Sorry for making you wait," Johnny smirked as he brought his lips back on to Jillian's.

This time their kiss was more passionate, and more greedy. Johnny gripped onto Jillian's waist as he used his tongue. Jillian was surprised but she soon relaxed. They both fought for dominance but Johnny won. Jillian doesn't mind having Johnny lead. They kissed for about a minute before they finally broke apart, a string of saliva wearing thin and disappearing as Jillian pulled away. Their face was flushed with red as they panted breathlessly.

"I love you John," Jillian finally said.

"I love you too Jill."

Jillian dipped her head back to the crook of his neck. She closed her eyes as Johnny wrapped his arms around her. Johnny rested his head on Jillian's as they both fell asleep.
