The door lets out a small groan as I continue my crossword puzzle. 12 down...11 letters...an anime that involves a Earl who has a demon butler named Sebastian Michaelis...I skip to the next one.
"Gina, I brought pizza. I'm going to finish up some work. Don't disturb me." The door to the office is shut and locked which symbolizes that I have the rest of the night to myself. I stand up, throw the crossword onto my bed-I'll search the answer to that later, and descend down the stairs. As I step on each one, they creak under my weight. Any sudden movements and they could send me straight into the floor.
I eventually reach the bottom of the staircase and trek into the kitchen. One of heaven's angels are hiding in a pizza box, waiting for me to devour them and receive its warmth. I run over to the pizza box, open it, and grab a slice of heaven out of the box. Warm me. Warm Me! WARM ME! I take a bite and put it back down, leaving a string of cheese between the pizza and I.
