Old Times Part 34

After the talk with Armin, Eren quickly got online and started to search for rings. The rings were all pretty nice and all, but it wasn't something for Levi. It HAD to match who Levi was entirely. Anything less would only be insulting.

He continued to scroll until one of the rings caught his eye.

A black titanium ring. It didn't have an intricate design or anything that. Just a thin, silver line wrapping around the ring. The rest of it was black.

Levi will love it. It's perfect.

With a bright smile, he bought it. It would arrive in a few days if he was lucky.

"Eren, I need to ask you something," Mikasa sat down in front of Eren. A leg over the other.

"What do you want."

She stayed quiet for a moment, seemed like she was thinking of what to say, or how to say it. Maybe calming herself down?

"Did you really... with Levi?" She looked directly at Eren.

"Did I really make love with Levi? Is that what you are asking? Or are you asking me if I really talked with Levi?"

"I'm asking if you really fuck him." Her voice came out as pure venom, but under control.

"No I didn't fuck him. We made love," he looked back at the scree, "is that all you want to ask."

"Why would you say all those things about him in front of me? You know how I feel! You know and yet, you continue to say just how much you love him and how you would die and kill for him! Levi doesn't love you! He has told you so many times and just because he let you have sex with him, doesn't mean anything!

Levi will take it back. He won't let it happen again. And when that happens you'll disappear with him again. The cycle will repeat and when it does," Mikasa stood up, "you'll loose him forever this time. Armin and I won't help you and Levi will be far away from you."

She got close to Erens' face, "let Levi go."

He didn't look back at Mikasa.

Didn't say anything and didn't move, until she left.

All that came out of her mouth were lies.

What the hell does she know?! She doesn't know Levi nor does she know me. What? Just because she's in love with me I have to give up in my own love and be with her?! How selfish can she get?

There was no need to be in that room anymore. Eren put the laptop away, grabbed his phone, and left the hotel for the day.

Turning the knob slowly, he peeked inside the room.

There didn't seem so be anyone. He could see two beds, a tv, chairs, a table, and a door to which he assumed lead to the bathroom.

He took two small steps inside the room and locked the door behind him, continued to slowly walk. The curtains on the windows were closed shut, but light still went through.

Another step forward.

He tried to listen for any shuffling or breathing.

Nothing yet.

Perhaps his objective was in the bathroom?

Maybe under the bed.

Looking over the room, he finally say something in the middle of the two beds.
