1. Packing

Scarlett's POV

"Luke!" I squealed. As of now Luke and I are playing twister and he just fell on top of me.

"What! I can't help that I have terrible balance!" Luke laughed.

"You can take balancing class Or something!" I giggled.

Luke and I have been best friends for as long as I can remember. I am eighteen now so probably about seven years. We met when we were eleven. I moved to Australia from California. When I started at my new school everyone thought I was weird because I wasn't from there. At lunch Luke came up to me and sat next to me, not caring what his friends thought. We have been best friends ever since.

Instead of playing twister we should be packing for our trip to America We are probably going to stay there for about a year or half a year and we are going to try and visit all the states. I may have grown up there but I never left California.

"Luke, We should be packing." I sighed.

"But I don't want to. Packing is boring." Luke groaned.

"We are leaving tomorrow morning we have to get started!" I giggled as Luke started to tickle my sides.

"Ok, ok."

"I'm done so I guess I can help you." I said.

"Yay!" Luke cheered like a 5 year old.

-

"Scarlett, that makes me look fat." Luke stated.

"You say that about everything, maybe you are fat." I joked.

"I am far from fat." Luke said as he put his hand on his chest like he was offended. Then he lifted up his shirt to reveal his toned stomach.

After about an hour of trying to help Luke pack we were tired so we watched a movie.

After the movie was over Luke finished packing and I went to sleep. It was around 1 in the morning and our flight was at 8:30.

-Next Day-

"Luke, wake up!" I screamed while jumping on him.

It was 7:00 and we had to leave in an hour. I was already ready but Luke didn't even wake up.

"Get off." Luke groaned.

"You have to get up and get ready or we will miss or flight!" I stated.

Once I said that, Luke shot up out of bed like he forgot we were leaving today. He ran to the bathroom and jumped in the shower. Normally he takes a really long shower but this morning he was only in there for 15 minutes. He didn't even bother doing his hair he just put a beanie over it because he knew it would probably end up getting messed up on the plane.

We ate breakfast which was a waffle with loads of syrup and then we put our stuff into the car. After that we drove to the airport,

"We're finally doing this." Luke breathed out

"I know." I replied.

Luke and I have talked about going to America together since we were in year 9. He has never been there before so he's really exicted.

"Flight number 126 to America is boarding." The lady on the loud speaker said.

"Are you ready?" I asked Luke.

"Ya. I think so." He replied.

We boarded the plain and once we found our seats I took out a piece of gum and handed one to Luke. I then put in my earbuds in after the plane took off, Hear me out by Go Radio turned on and I turned the volume on my phone up really loud because it's my favorite song.

"I want to listen!" Luke pouted. He must have been able to hear since it was turned up so loud.

I handed Luke one of my earbuds and we listened to the song together. The last thing I remeber is Luke and I fighting on which song to pick because after that I fell asleep. I didn't get much sleep the night before.

"Scarlett wake up." Luke said while shaking my sholders.

"Did we land?" I questioned.

"Ya." Luke replied simply.

We got off the plane and went to the baggae claim. We were there for atleast for a half an hour because Luke couldn't find his luggage. He forgot what his suit case looked like. We went to rent a car. We didn't bother bringing much food with us because we wouldn't be staying at one place this whole entire trip. We only brought snacks.

After we got the car we just started driving. It didn't matter where we were going since we were going to travel the whole country.

"First stop... the gas station" Luke said proudly.

"Ok. But your getting out to pump the gas." I said quickly.

"Ugh fine." Luke complained.

After getting gas Luke and I continued our journey.

We stopped at a rest stop and got some coffee. As any typical white girl I went and got Starbucks. After the rest stop Luke started driving and our first state was Arizona.

So this first chapter was an epilogue kinda thing I guess. So basically this story is about two friends and Luke has never been to the USA before so Scarlett thought it would be fun to travel the US by car.

They are probably going to go to every state and stay in each for about a week. I've never done a fanfic like this before so we shall see how it goes. :)
