Ambers Accident..

Hi, it's Amber. I'm super curious about the deep dark sea! I love aquatic animals and tend to be in the ocean a lot. Also, i'm very curious what happens when a natural disaster happens. My town never got hit by one and I never experienced it. Will my curiosity bring happiness and fun times? Maybe even pain and destruction?  

This will stay between us, I found out I have a secret connection to the ocean.. I can make a natural disaster and zI wanna test it out! I just want to know what happens. It can't be that bad. Right? It's the middle of August, the sky has a cool breeze so honestly a perfect day. Overnight the hurricane will be effect and in the morning we will see what happens. Ugh, my mom woke me up at 2:17 Am and said "GET UP! HURRICANE COMING!!" I also replied back, "What are you talking about, our town never gets hurricanes". Then she starts to load up the car. I suddenly forget what I did and can't believe it worked. I go to the car with a ton of our things. I can see houses broken up and damaged badly. I feel horrible, I never knew this would happen. I see my neighbors' faces, they look so depressed and shocked. Weeks go by and the town settles down. My mom came back to see if we can even save anything from our home. This was one horrible hurricane, did my curiosity really lead to this? I guess so. I'm very sorry but I can't admit to this crime. It got too bad, way too bad. Everything in the town is destroyed. I didn't think it would be this bad because the ocean ended halfway into our town. We grabbed things that weren't damaged and had to head to a new town I guess. We drive by my friends' houses and stop so I can say bye. Apparently we're all going to the same town because it's close by. The drive out is the worst part. Seeing everything that had memories is all gone, ALL GONE! The faces of people are just too depressing even the houses that I damaged.

A month goes by and my family, friends and I get settled in the new city for a new home. The town is gone, the happy smile is also gone. I'll ever forgive myself for this. Is this what my curiosity caughts? I guess so. New lives are made while the old city rots. It's too destroyed to even be fixed in a year or two. Therefore, this home we all called "sweet home". The term is now gone. I will never forget what happened last time I messed with the sea and my curiosity. I'm no more curious, I'm just a shame. That curiosity brought shame and pain.
