Walking down the street as the rain poured down, she tries to ignore the stares from others as she puts her head down, her bangs covering her face. She didn't have an umbrella, so she was soaking wet, probably the reason why everyone was staring at her.

She hated attention, but unfortunately, she stupidly forgot her umbrella. She started walking faster, wanting to arrive at her house immediately. Because she was looking down, she bumped into someone, making her fall.

She waited for the impact, but nothing came. Instead, she felt a hand on her back, catching her before she hit the ground. She opens her eyes and sees a handsome face looking down at her. He helps her stand up, his umbrella shielding them both from the rain.

"You shouldn't look down when walking," he says in a low voice while looking down, making his bangs cover his eyes.

Not knowing what to say, she keeps quiet. He asks her why she's soaking wet, but before she could answer he pulls her nearer and nearer until they're 1 inch apart, making her blush.

"What's your name?" he asks her.
"Futaba. Yushioka Futaba." she answers him with a clear voice.

He just looks at her while she focuses on looking at his chest, not wanting to meet his eyes. She was shorter than him, but she straightened her posture, not wanting to look nervous around him.

"What about you, what's your name?" she asks him, still not looking at him.
"You'll find out soon enough." he says as suddenly puts his arm around her.

"Let me take you home. You live at that apartment, right?" he says as he starts to walk her to the apartment he was pointing at with his free hand.

She blinks in surprise.

How did he know where I lived?

Her question was answered by the peculiar boy, telling her that he lived on the same floor. She was surprised by his answer. She's never even seen him before! She stays focused on looking down at the floor, looking at her feet taking steps.

They come to a stop and she sees the door to the building. She looks back at the boy folding his umbrella, and then once again puts his arm around her while pushing open the door. As they arrive at the elevator, they push the 'up' button and wait awkardly. They step unto the elevator, push the button with the number '18' on it, never removing his arm from Futaba's shoulders.

Arriving at Futaba's apartment door, he finally removes his arm.

"Thank you," she says loud enough for him to hear. He nods in response.

She gets her keys from her pockets, opening her door and goes in. As she closes the door, she stares at the boy opening the door in front of her's.
The door is opened, but before stepping inside his apartment, he glances back at Futaba, and smiles at her. She is taken aback by the actions, looking down at the floor and closes the door without a word.

The boy shakes his head at her reaction and finally goes into his apartment, the smile never leaving his face.
