Autumn Green sits alone in a train car, staring out the window at families giving their goodbyes to Hogwarts students. She suddenly hears a knock on the door of her compartment and whips her head around to face a sweet looking blonde boy.
"Hey! Mind if I sit with yeh?" she smiles at his Scottish accent.
"Yeah, that's fine."
"Cool! Thanks, all the other compartments were filled," he sits down next to Autumn, "My name's Sean, by the way," he extends his hand with a smile.
She nervously takes his hand and shakes it, "A-Autumn, nice to meet you."
The boy chuckles, his baby blue eyes sparkling, "cute name! So, you a first year?" he asks.
"Yeah, you too?" she smiles shyly.
"Yep! What house are you hoping to get?" Sean questions.
"I don't know," Green replies, playing with the sleeves of her oversized grey sweater, "honestly I think the only one I fit into is Hufflepuff, I'm not really smart, brave or cunning... and I love nature" she giggles.
"Yeah, I get that," he replies, laughing along, "My dad was a Gryffindor and my mum was a Ravenclaw, but my uncle was Hufflepuff! So I'm hoping for that."
Autumn smiles. "Well then, hopefully we'll be in the same house. My mum was a Ravenclaw too!"
"Wicked! What was her name?"
"Rose Green," she states.
"Wait, isn't she a Quidditch player?" Sean asks."Yeah! Plays for the Holyhead Harpies now, why?"
The boys eyes widened, "I think she played with my mum in their Hogwarts days!"
"Really? That's brilliant!" Autumn exclaims, "what was her name? Maybe I've heard something about her!"
"Jennifer Kelly, she played keeper."
"I have heard about her! My mum was a seeker. They were pretty close from what I recall," she smiles.
"Yeah!" Sean says, returning the smile, "Unfortunately my mum had a leg injury that kept her from playing professionally," he frowns, "hopefully I'll make the team next year though!"
Suddenly, a girl with bushy hair opens the compartment door.
"Have you seen a toad? A boy named Neville's lost one," she asks in a quite annoying tone.
"No, I haven't seen a toad," Autumn replies.
"Yeah, no. Sorry, good luck though," Sean adds.
The girl seemed to like his accent as much as Autumn did, considering the bright pink blush appearing on her cheeks.
"O-okay, thanks anyways! And you might want to get changed, we'll be arriving soon."
"Huh, she was interesting," Sean says as soon as the girl shuts the door behind her.
"I don't know, she seemed like a know-it-all, and she kept looking at you weird," Green adds, blushing slightly.
Sean chuckles with a smirk, "Oh I don't know, she was kinda cute."
Autumn shoots him a disgusted look, "oh, whatever."
Sean laughs, "I'm only joking! You should have seen your face!"
Her cheeks turn bright red with embarrassment, "Shut it!" she changes the subject, "so, Kelly? Is that your last name too?"
"No actually, it's Smith, my dad's name," he chuckles, "yours Green?"
