Leave the saving of the world to the men? I don't think so.

- Mrs. Incredible

Malou Yang P.O.V

I had broken things off with Francisco and things have been like shit since. Now don't get me wrong, I don't miss him.

I really don't.

Stress has gotten to me. The documents needed to be signed, the meetings to be arranged, the plastic smiles and the ass kissing I had to do and handle has all been too much.

I helped building this company up. Since I took over, profits had almost double, jobs have tripled, and the money is enough for me to retire on. But that not what motivates me, it's the thrill and the run. I love it. I love chasing the deal, figuring out solutions. I suppose it's the only thing that satisfies me. Torturing myself I guess.

I haven't been able to find anyone new since Francisco and I swear this is making me desperate. I should've seen it coming and stopped it, but I didn't. I knew he was gaining feelings but what the fuck was I suppose to do about it?

I never led him on and him gaining feelings was not my problem. I wasn't going to lose sleep over it and he needed to get over it.

I do feel some guilt. I could've handled it better but I needed to cut it before it he got ideas. Just because I was sleeping with him didn't mean I wanted a relationship. I had made that very clear.

But like I said before, I wasn't going to lose sleep over it. Plus my assistant quit so there were too many things to do and worry about. My personal life being at the bottom of that list.

Good thing Jason was working on getting me one. I would be meeting with them soon.

"Okay so you already know the deal. You are signing a non-disclosure agreement for the personal life of Miss. Yang. She is extremely private and wants things to be done a certain way. The contract is for two years, unless both parties want to break the contract. You will be a live in assistant, filling in her every need. She will need you to be available 24/7", Mr. Jason states, "Is that all clear?"

"I understand perfectly. Thank you Mr. Jason."

"Please after you sign this you can call me just Jason. You are going to need my help if you ever want to get out of the contract."

Feeling flustered thinking I would quit so easily I say, "Not at all, I really admire Miss. Yang. I have followed her work continuously. When I found out she needed an assistant I jumped at the opportunity."

Mr. Jason just chuckles and says, "Well you think that now. Malou is going to drive your ass. Her last assistant left because it was "too much" apparently"

I stayed quiet, I'm still going to sign the contract regardless. Her last assistant might have gone through hell itself, but now she's starting her own company which is flourishing. I know she didn't learn that by herself, Miss. Yang taught her that.

I want that future, I want to be able to provide for my mother and my huge family. My mother deserved the world after what she had been through. Money would help buy that. My salary was almost triple, with this upgrade I could get my abuela the nursing home she needed. The fancy one with all the nurses and my mother, she could afford to travel and take my siblings with her.

I could do that.

I would be just like Miss. Yang, I would take every piece of information I could get and the salary was just a huge bonus. My goal is to be where she is at. I had done all the research, all her assistants, the ones who didn't leave within the first two weeks went on to do amazing things.

Huge bonuses, huge companies, huge opportunities.

That would be me. And I knew I could thrive with anything. Her yelling at me, her being rude or condescending, I knew I could go through that. I have been through it, except this time I would be getting paid very well.

"Mr. Jason, I am well aware of Miss. Yang reputation. I am sure I will survive."

"Good to hear that. Now sign."

Picking up the black pen, I sealed my future for the next two years.
