Chapter 13 || Truth Unleashed

I had been pacing back and forth for an hour now, we brought her to the mountains with us, when another girl checked her pulse and confirmed she was alive,

Now she was in a medical tent behind my castle, and had been unconscious for hours.she had a pretty bad bruise on the side of her face,and many more on her arms and legs , so I brought her for an examination, and an over all check up,

Why did she jump? This one question kept swirling on my mind.

The sound of someone coming out of the tent, Snapped me out of my thoughts,

"How is she?" I immediately ask the lady that come out,

"Well so far she looks stable, but,"she stoped and looked down to the ground, she looked uncomfortable,

"As we were examining her body, we found many wounds, bruises and scratches on her body" she explained,

"What kind of wounds?" I asked,
She toke a deep breath,

"They look like............wipe marks, it is clear that she had been abused physically daily, some wounds are infected and others are... ok..." the lady explained,and continued, " I've never seen wounds these bad,most of them will most definitely scar"

"No wonder she would want to kill her self" I mumbled to my self, I don't know why but my blood started boiling at the thought of someone hurting her,

I thought back to the water fall, she didn't even have an ounce of hesitation when she jump off that water fall, and something about that made my soul hurt,

"When is she going to wake up?"I asked,

"Is uncertain, but hopefully in a few hours or days"she said,

"Ok then, can you inform the other women of the castle to prepare a room for her in the castle,she's my guest and I hope for her to be treated as such"I say, the lady nodded and left to inform all the others.

Finally I had arrived at the my castle for the funeral, it looked the same since I had left, my mind was flooded with old memories of this place ,

I missed Agra, Katharine, Isabelle, Blue, and Bella,and couldn't wait to see them,

I go inside, and almost everyone stares at me, not because of my beauty anymore, but because of the huge bruise on the side of my face,

I tried to hide it with my black shawl that I was wearing with a white, flowy lace dress,

I quickly make my way towards my room, and throw the doors open, every thing still looked the same.

I expected Bella and Blue to run to me and start licking my feet, but they weren't there in my room,

I go out side in search of them, but instead find a crying Agra, her eyes looked red and puffy,

I go over to her and tap on her shoulder to get her attention, she turns to me, and the second she sees it's me she pulled me into a hug and sobbed on to my shoulder,

After a couple of minutes I gently pull her away, " What happened Agra?"i asked,

" M-My sister died"she said trying her best not to sob again,

"Oh, I am so sorry, I didn't know she was your sister or I would've come sooner" I say, feeling devastated for Agra,

"It's ok pri—,
She stoped midway and stared at my face,

"How did you get this bruise?"She asked, her previous sad tone was now filled with worries,

"It's n-nothing, I just fell" I lied, I was too scared to tell her, because I know what he would do to me if I did,

But it was clear she didn't believe me, and her gaze went to my wrists, where there was a sleeve of bruise and scratches on my arm, she looked back at me, it was clear she had pieced the pieces together,

I lowered my gaze, I felt embarrassed, like a disappointment.

"He did this to you didn't he"she asked, more like a demanded,

I nod,

I tried to hold back my tears, but ultimately failed,

"I am so sorry, I should've known this would happen,but it was too late" Agar mumbled to her self, but I heard,

" What do you mean?" I asked,

"The prince and king of Ederdale are known for how cruel they are," Agra said while sobbing a little, and continued "At first I did not know that the prince you were marrying was actually the prince of Ederdale, and when I found out it was already too late, it was when we arrived for wedding that I found out" she explained,

I couldn't believe what I was hearing, that's when someone called her from behind,

" I am sorry, but I have to go" and with that she left, with me in shock.

I am really sorry for the small chapter, I am really busy moving,
