When we were young
When we were young is a Chinese drama that talks about Youth with Romantic comedy in it.
Based in 1996, Yang Xi (Wan Peng) is spending her summer break training for a long distance run. One day, she is injured by a lab explosion while chasing a bike thief ruining her chances to compete.
When the school year begins, a new transfer student is introduced, Hua Xiao (Hou Ming Hao). He is an intelligent and reliable student with a hot-blooded exterior.
But when Yang Xi realizes it's the same culprit from her accident and that he's running for class president, a new rivalry begins.
Review
When we were young is a drama I enjoyed I liked the parts where they talked about finding about what YOU were truly best at and developing it. Its about the ups and downs of youth transitioning into adulthood even if we aren't ready. But I have to comment on the ending it wasn't what I was really expecting but overall the story was good. Just to mention not all the story is about love.
