The stall door slowly opened as Naomi laid her hand on it. In this stall was a figure that hung, swaying side to side.
Seiko Shinohara.
Horror built up in Naomi's throat. Her best friend...hung up by a thick rope.
But Seiko was not dead. She put her hands on the noose around her neck and stared at Naomi with bloodshot eyes.
"D o y o u s t i l l r e m e m b e r w h e n w e w e r e l i t t l e ?" She choked the words out softly.
"W e w e r e p l a y i n g i n t h e P A R K...
A n d y o u a s k e d m e . . ."
Naomi remembered. Of course she did. Her mind flashed to the scene of six year old Naomi and Seiko finding the body of a dead dragonfly in their local park, it's wings withered in the pale sand.
"W h a t h a p p e n s w h e n y o u
D I E?" Little Naomi asked as she and Seiko buried the small dragonfly a grave of sand.
"I s a i d . . ." The now dying Seiko continued.
"Y o u f o r g e t e v e r y t h i n g...
E V E R Y T H I N G..." Little Seiko replied.
"E v e n y o u ?" Little Naomi stood up and kicked a stick that had wrapped around her leg off.
"Y o u a s k e d" Hung Seiko gasped.
"Y e s.
E v e n M E . . . " Little Seiko sighed as she put a small stone into the dragonfly's grave to look like a grave stone.
"Y o u d i d n o t w a n t t o d i e" Naomi sobbed as her warm tears flowed down her face. She remembered all of the times they spent together, sleepovers, homework assignments, games they played as children. Seiko had always been there for Naomi, no matter what the cause was.
"N e v e r f o r g e t" Seiko choked as her eyes rested for the final time.

"H o w d i d I f o r g e t ?" A familiar voice whispered into Naomi's ear hours later as she left the hell known as Heavenly Host.

Naomi sat in her room and looked at the picture of Seiko on her phone. But instead of seeing her happy, joyful face, there was a large, black hole.
"H o w ? . . ." Her voice was filled with pain as tears splattered across her phone's screen. But these tears were not normal tears. They were tears of blood.
