As far as the roots of the Indian culture goes back, it is noticed that we have been living in a patriarchal society, since forever. Though the early Vedic age had shown signs of equality and impartiality, it has been noted that during the later years, this has slowly diminished. Today, we live in the 21st century, where the society runs purely on illegality or is corrupted with politics, and such that it is influenced based on the positions, as casted out by the society itself.
The voice of the people in power, is the voice of the society, and it is the ultimate voice of the country. This voice, has failed to implement the vitalities of our Constitution, such as equality, secularism and fraternity. Most of the raging topics of today, are due to the malfunctioning of the government, and lack of equality.
Women, have always been considered as feeble, subordinate and pathetic creatures in our society. Feminism has become one of the most disdained policies, and feminists have become the laughing stock of the country. Ever since the ancient times, the girl child is brought up to be the way they they're supposed to behave in their husband's house. Marriage has already been decided at a young age, and chores such as cooking, washing, and taking care of the household have already been considered womanly. It seems as if everything is planned out for us, but the only thing that isn't told to us, is how to survive. How to survive when the man in the house decides to manifest his manliness around, how to survive when you're considered a no-one, how to survive when you have no value, no importance. Our clothing decides our culture, our words decides our status, our actions decides our audacity, but what people forget is that we are the main reason for their mere existence.
A woman is to be blamed for anything that happens, yet a man is not blamed if he's the reason behind the cause. What is the difference between a man and a woman. It is a simple contrast in gender. Now imagine a parallel universe ruled by women, where instead of feminism, the reason for the hindrance of the country's advancement would be masculinism.

In my opinion, feminism is unimportant as long as there is Equality. Women and men both complete the biological cycle, hence none are unimportant. It is not either the woman or the man's fault, STOP BLAMING ISSUES ON THE GENDER. It is an individual's deed, and the blame should be received by the individual regardless of the gender. If a woman is wrong, she is, and if a man is guilty, then too, it is his fault, not another woman's. Wake up India, wake-up society, wake up each and every individual of this world... It is all I ask for. No gender is less worthy than the other; open your eyes, and clear your minds, for it is a dream for all to live in a better world. Let us make an effort for the dreams to turn into reality.
