I waited for you quietly, peacefully,

Crouched and forgotten in the dark.

And when you did not come,

I screamed for you, loudly,

Thrashing against these prison walls.

Pulling blindly at the chains that bind,

Bind me to you.

You long ago forgot my existance.

I cried for you, bash fully.

I did not let it show that you had won.

For sadly I've become you,

And sadly we are one.

Brightness, soft light,

Why are you never near?

I miss the cheering voices,

Scalding at my ears.

Damn you and your miserable army,

Your loyalties to the cause.

I am so tired of being overlooked,

Cut off these heavy chains.

Please bind me no more.
