"so, london? out of the entire world, your parents chose london?" allison asked while you were busy trying to figure out the best way to the metro.
"uhm, yeah. my dad's originally from london, but he moved when he was five and basically grew up in the states. yet he convinced my mom to move back here, and not summers falls."
"you have to take us to all the cool places! Like buckingham palace, big ben, hyde park-"
"i haven't even been to half those places allison, first let's just get to the metro and find a good place to get some food." you sighed, leading the group towards the entrance to the metro you used to get to school.
"what's it like, living in london? are there any amazing boutiques we should visit before we go?" lydia asked excitedly, almost like it was the only reason she even came.
"i guess marks and spencer is ok? harrods too. but please keep in mind, fashion in england isn't exactly the greatest for our age group."
"oh well, you all go have fun while i'll be out shopping." the strawberry blonde called out to the group, racing away towards god knows what, which caused you to laugh.
"she's going to get lost." you sighed, hopping down the steps to the metro.
"trust lydia, she always finds her way to a mall." allison laughed, causing you to look back and notice stiles staring over to where lydia ran off.
he really does like her... i should've known from the start.
pausing on the flight of stairs, you wondered if now was the time to raise your white flag.
Maybe just give up (y/n), you're finally safe, you've made new friends, you've kept your old friends you were so scared to lose.
you live in 'the big smoke', what more could you ask for.
sure, london is no paris, or ireland, or anywhere else in the world, but it's better than america at times.
just let him go and take a moment to collect yourself before getting back into the game of romance.
"(y/n), is everything alright?" you heard scott ask, causing you to jump slightly, which caused everyone else to laugh.
"yeah, just uhm- thinking about how lydia ran off in the wrong way if she wanted to go to marks and spencer."
"oh, we should text her and let her know then.." allison muttered, which resulted in an eye roll on your behalf.
"nah, there's a metro stop near where she ran off to with a map to show where all the big shopping plazas are. it's for tourists like her." you lied, smirking as you joyfully skipped down the steps.
why did it feel this good to be evil? why did it feel as though there was a darker reason behind your lies?
"maybe i am, (y/l/n). maybe i am threatening you. i know you have a thing for stiles, well hear this, 'princess'. he's going to be mine eventually. i'm just building up his interest in me."
the thought of her words rang through your head again, the memory of her kissing stiles. the hatred you felt towards perfect little lydia martin.
"did you guys forget about her or something?" you asked out of the blue as you pulled out your metro card.
"what's that supposed to mean?" allison asked, but you could tell stiles and scott knew what you were talking about.
"we didn't forget, (y/n), we chose to move on from it. maybe you should too." scott sighed, running his hands through his hair.
