its raining.

its coming down hard and fast. it started out soft but quickly picked up the pace.

i put on my socks and shoes, my tee shirt, jeans, and my beanie. my mom isnt home so i wrote a note just in case.

mom, going out for bit

i didnt take my umbrella.

i walked along the side walk the rain hitting roughly against my skin. i smiled as a leaf fell on my face. i headed straight towards the park.

the grass was so green. i looked u at the sky and closed my eyes. i spun for a few moments or maybe it was minutes. i colaspe onto the grass still smiling with my eyes closed.

i take a deep breathe. in and out. the smell was beautiful.

"what are you doing?"

i opened my eyes "breathing"

a boy my age with an umbrella and thick parka and shaggy brown hair with stunning green eyes came towards me. he looked so confused and kinda startled

"arent you cold?!" "no im fine" he looked at me so confused.

"have you ever just sat in the rain? and just.. took a breathe?" i smiled sitting up leaning on my elbows

"no. its stupid. youll get dirty wet and allergies."

i laughed and stood up. i walked towards him and he backed up until he hit a tree. he blushed

"um can you take a step back?" i did. i also took his umbrella and ran

"hey! give that back!" i ran faster and laughed

he chased after me

i then collasped on the grass out of breathe and ran up to me looking at me like i was mad!

"why the hell did you do that?!" he almost yelled

"sit! just take a deep breathe." i took his wrist and pulled him to the ground.

he collasped completely out of breathe. i laughedand laid down.

"feel the rain. just breathe. " i say in a whisper and i can hear him breathe

i dont know how long we laid there but it was only until i dared to look at my watch and sprang up realizing the time

"i got to go goodbye nice meeting you!" i yelled and ran home as i heard him yell back "UM OK. GOODBYE?"

i bet he was blushing.
