"I'm not going to tell you his fear!" Cade tells Calum in an annoyed tone. "Fine then, you asked for it" he replies as throws the match he just lit at Cade.
The reason I'm so afraid of fire is when I was around eight my best friend and I wanted to see what it was like to light random objects on fire. Things were going fine in the beginning but then things took a turn for the worst. I was very stupid and dared my best friend to set a deodorant can on fire. He did it and then he ended up burning to death as it blew up while he was holding it. It was all my fault, I didn't even help him. I was too afraid so I just let him die in front of me. I remember screaming and crying but we had taken these objects to the forest and it was just the two of us. It was a traumatising experience and it caused me to have pyrophobia to this day. Cade thinks to himself. He shivers with fear and screams in pain as the fire slowly travels up to his feet.
The pain the fire inflicts on Cade's body starts to become unbearable for him. "Mice!" He shouts. "What was that?" Calum asks him. "Darren has musophobia" he replies to him. "Thanks for that Cade" he replies as he gets rid of the fire on Cade's body. He then lets Cade's consciousness out of his mind.
Cade wakes up in Daphne's house he's still shaking from what he just experienced. "You're back!" Darren exclaims to Cade. "I'm sorry" he mutters to Darren. "What do you mean?" He questions his brother. "You'll find out soon" he answers him. "What did he do to you?" Daphne asks Cade. "He threw a lit match at me" he replies to her.
Mice huh? I could deal with him with that. I will get to him soon. I hope this would actually make him stop getting in people's heads and messing with people's minds. I don't want anyone else having to go through what I've been through. It changed me so much. I can hardly recognise myself anymore. Calum thinks to himself.
A few minutes pass. Daphne finally figured out the spell that would help Cade and Darren when Calum messes with their consciousness. Darren then falls unconscious. Daphne soon follows his consciousness as he is still unconscious.
I've been afraid of mice for so many years. The first time I encountered one I was four. It bit me. I screamed and cried but I was locked in that room and no one bothered to care. Dad had gone on a trip for work or something and my mum didn't help me at all when I told her about it. I had to try to stop the pain myself. The mouse attacked me because I accidentally hurt it while I held it to try to get rid of it. It was in the room for ages after it hurt me and I just had to stay there being terrified of it. It did eventually leave though. Darren thinks to himself.
"Hello Darren" Calum greets him while he's in his mind. "Get me out of here!" He shouts at him. "Hey Calum" Daphne greets him. "What the hell are you doing here?" He asks her. "I'm here to help Darren" she replies to him. "You're not wanted here" he replies back to her. "I'm not leaving" she tells him. "Okay, I'll just ignore you" he replies to her. "Don't you just love mice? They're so cute right?" He asks Darren. He starts shaking at the mention of them. "Don't do this Calum" Daphne tells him. "Shut the fuck up Daphne!" he shouts in reply to her. Calum then makes a horde of mice surround Darren. He flinches and tries to run but there's nowhere to leave.
The mice start crawling all over him. He starts screaming. "Why are you doing this to them Calum?" Daphne asks him. "I'm not replying to you Daphne" he tells her. "Oh come on, I just want to know" she replies to him. "No you don't, you're just trying to distract me so I'll stop torturing Darren" he replies back. "I thought you said you were going to ignore me" she tells him. "I did, but it's difficult for me to do that while you keep speaking to me" he replies to her. The mice bite Darren as he accidentally sat on some of them. He screams in pain. "Don't you care that he's hurt?" Daphne asks Calum. "Did he care when he hurt me while he was messing with my head?" He questions her. She doesn't answer him. "That's what I expected" he replies to her. "He didn't care that he hurt me, what makes you think I care that I'm hurting him?" He asks her. "When did you get so vengeful?" She asks him. "When I realised they won't stop unless they know how I felt" he replies to her.
"Please get rid of them!" Darren cries out gesturing to the mice. "No can do Dare" he replies to him. Daphne then uses her magic to get rid of them. Calum then shoots a glare in Daphne's direction. "What? You've tortured him enough" she tells him. "No I haven't!" he replies angrily. He then flings a shuriken in her direction. She dodges the weapon before it could hurt her. "Get out of here!" He shouts at her. "No!" She shouts back at him. "Leave!" He shouts at her as he flings a shuriken at her again. This time it only misses her by a few centimetres. "Fine, I'll go" she replies. "Good, bye" he replies back. She then leaves the scene.
"Now, where were we?" Calum asks Darren. "Please don't bring the mice back" he pleads with him. "Why should I listen to you? You never cared when I asked you to stop what you were doing to me" he tells him. "I'm sorry" he replies to him. "Your apology is too late to be accepted, maybe if you hadn't changed me so much with your games I would have forgiven you, but this verison of me is unforgiving" he replies to him as he brings the horde of mice back to surround him. He starts screaming again as they begin crawling all over him. They bite him again and he screams again.
A few minutes pass. "This is getting boring, I'll see you later" Calum tells a traumatised Darren as he lets him out of his mind. "This isn't over, I'm not done with you or your brother yet" he tells Darren through his thoughts.
"I apologise for telling him about your fear Dare, I could have burned to death if I didn't" Cade tells him. "I-it's o-okay, I-i'm fine now" he replies to him stuttering a bit as what he experienced torments him. "Are you sure?" Daphne asks him. "I don't know" he replies to her. "I witnessed almost everything he did to you, I think you should rest for a bit, it might help you" she replies to him. "I guess you're right, I'll see you both later" he tells them as he leaves Daphne's house and heads home.
He lies down on his bed. He's using my tricks against me and he's actually succeeding in managing to hurt me. I guess he's right about me not caring about his feelings about everything I did to him. I guess I've been treating him awfully and I deserve this. My games are only hurting people and now that I've got a taste of what it feels like I think I should stop. Darren thinks to himself. He's just about to fall asleep after he thinks about that but he can't get to sleep since Calum decided to make his head hurt.
