"-Lan"
"Mr. Lan," a voice finally reached to Lan Wangji's ears.
He lifted his head to see who was calling him and in return, he saw plenty of eyes staring worryingly at him.
It was just his students.
"Mr. Lan, are you okay? You spaced out for a bit while talking," one of his students spoke up.
Lan Wangji took a deep breath and let out a small sigh. He can't believe he spaced out in class, some more, in front of his students.
"I'm fine, Sizhui. Let us continue," Lan Wangji continued with his class.
He is currently a teacher, a history teacher, ironically. He remembered his past lives living as the Lan Wangji. Reincarnated, lives afterlives.
Hoping one day he would find him again, but to no avail, another century passed and Wei Wuxian was nowhere to be found.
Class finally ended and Lan Wangji gave his students homework to do before they scrambled away from their stone-faced teacher.
But two students stayed back. Lan Sizhui and Lan Jingyi.
Sizhui approached his teacher and asked if he was alright. It was very unusual for Lan Wangji to suddenly stare into space.
"I'm fine, really. Just a thought of the past," Lan Wangji answered, slowly packing his things while his two students still standing at the same spot.
"Is it... because of... Wei Wuxian? You paused while talking about him in class and often call his name out while sleeping... So, I just thought if that was the case,"
As expected of Lan Wangji's son.
Lan Wangji let out a slight smile.
"Yes. That is right. But, it's fine now. Let go home. Jingyi, you should go back too," Jingyi felt shivers as he heard his name being called as he is still not used to his teacher calling him his name.
Sizhui stopped his father and embarrassedly said that they were going to Jingyi's house to study.
Lan Wangji knew that Sizhui just wanted to give his father some space of thought.
Lan Wangji just nodded, and both of his students left, leaving Lan Wangji all alone in the silent classroom. Hearing small chattering outside the room and at the courtyard where the students are leaving the school.

Instead of going straight to his car, he decided to go for a short walk at the park to take things off his head.
Seeing from kids to old couples, dogs playing around with a group of family. And just nearby the entrance of the park, there was a small vendor selling flowers.
Just as someone was walking towards him from behind, a tune. A familiar tune was sung by that person. The tune was getting louder until Lan Wangji turned to his back and bumped into the man.
Seeing his face, Lan Wangji felt his heart beating again.
"Oh, man! I'm so sorry! I didn't see you there. Are you alright?" said the man who brushed off the flower petals dropped on his apron.
The young man got up and walked toward Lan Wangji and offered a hand as he was still on the ground.
Lan Wangji was lost in thought. Seeing the face of the man that he loved after all those years, just suddenly appear right in front of him again.
