I know, haven't updated in forever, I have just completely forgotten about this, believe it or not. But I'm back, and here is the new chapter!!! :)

Chapter 41

 Zayn’s POV

“Can you BELIEVE that little bitch?” Perrie complained for the millionth time. It has been hours since the karaoke thing-a-mah-bob, and me, Perrie, and the rest of the girls decided to take a trip to Starbucks. We were all sipping on our coffees and eating our cookies and such, listening to Perrie.

“Pez, you need to stop. Stressing is bad for you, it makes you age faster.” Jesy told her. I don’t even know if that’s true, but I nodded.

“I know I should but…UGH, SHE MAKES ME SO MAD!” Perrie yelled, and slammed her head on the table, hard. It must’ve hurt, but she didn’t care.

Basically, Perrie was mad that Ariana sang her favorite song, and got a standing ovation. What makes her even madder is that the crowd praised her, yet they only clapped a bit for her when she sang. Plus, Perrie says, Ariana was given a card, and according to Perrie, was probably a record producer’s number.

“Perrie? Perrie, you have to stop.” Jade told her.

“No, I’m not the one that needs to stop. It’s her.” Perrie said, raising her head. Her face was red, probably from hitting her head on the table.

“Ariana couldn’t stop being an amazing singer.” Leigh-Anne added. Perrie turned to look at her, and gave her a scary look, it even scared me.

“Leigh-Anne, I’m getting real tired of your bullshit. I would advise you to think before you speak.” Leigh squirmed a bit in her seat.

“Jade, what are you doing?” I asked her, who was doing something with her cup and her phone.

“Oh, ya know, just taking pictures of my cup and posting it on Instagram. I like this person’s handwriting; I want to share it with the world.”  I chuckled.

“Could you PLEASE stop messing around?” Perrie asked, snatching Jade’s phone from her hands.

“Hey, give it back, I was just about to add my caption!” Jade shrieked, reaching for her phone.

“Whoops!” Perrie said, and dropped the phone in Jesy’s iced coffee.

“Ahhh! Perrie, what the hell? You know my phone doesn’t have a case!” Jade yelled at her. All the people around us turned to see what was going on. I bowed my head; I didn’t really want to be in this.

“I told you to stop messing around!” Perrie protested.

“You don’t tell me what to do!” Jade screamed at her.

“Yes the hell I do!”

“Why did you tell me to stop using my phone anyway? What did my phone do to you?” Jade asked her. Everyone, including the cashiers, were listening and watching Jade and Perrie fight.

“I am not in the mood for your shit, Jade. I got problems going on!” was Perrie’s response.

“And what does my phone gotta do with it?” demanded Jade.

“I want your attention. I need someone to talk to, and your there sitting like a loser taking pictures of your Starbucks cup.” Perrie said in a lower tone. They were yelling at each other, but they were standing up. What was that all about, I thought.

“You could’ve just told me. There was no need to be a bitch and ruin my phone.” Jade told her.

“I’m sorry. It’s just that…I have problems going on.”

“Oh, you have problems all right.” Jade said.

“What do you mean?” Perrie asked her.

“You are over reacting over nothing. So what if Ariana is a better singer than you? That doesn’t mean you’re bad.”

“Yes, but that doesn’t make me the best, and that’s all I want to be. You wouldn’t understand Jade, since you can’t sing worth a shit.” Everyone got quiet. Jade’s jaw dropped. Ish just got real.

“Really? I can’t sing? See, this is why you have no friends. You insult all of them, and no one likes you.” Jade screamed at her.

“Then why do you hang out with me?!” Perrie screamed even louder at her.

“YOU PAY ME!! PLUS YOU MADE ME SIGN A CONTRACT!!” Jade yelled from the top of her lungs. People started to murmur. Some people were even recording this.

“Take that back!” Perrie demanded.

“Why? It’s true!” Leigh stood up, and yelled at her.

“SIT THE FUCK DOWN LEIGH-ANNE!!!” Perrie screamed.

“DON’T YOU YELL AT ME YOU SLUT!” Leigh yelled.

“Take that back!” Perrie said again.

“I’m done with this!” Jesy said. She grabbed her purse and iced coffee, and stood up.

“And where do you think you’re going, fatty?” Perrie asked her, pulling her arm. There were even more murmurs. For some reason, the cashiers weren’t taking orders, or working at the drive thrus. Everyone’s attention was on this fight.

“I AM NOT FAT! AND LET ME GO!” Jesy yelled. I don’t think I have ever heard Jesy’s voice raised this much. She’s usually quiet and calm.

“Sure, whatever fatty.” Perrie let go of her.

“That’s it, I’m leaving. No amount of money is worth putting up with you!” Jesy said, and stormed out the door. Jade and Leigh quickly followed her.

“Hey, you can’t leave me! What about the contract?” Perrie yelled at them, but it was too late. They were gone. Some people laughed.

“That is pathetic. Paying people to be your friend?” One woman whispered to another.

“What a load of rubbish.” The other lady said.

“I CAN HEAR YOU, YOU KNOW!” Perrie yelled at them.

“And we can hear you. Sit down, love.” An old man told her.

“COME ON ZAYN, LET’S GO!” Perrie yelled at me.

“Hey, I don’t appreciate you causing a disturbance at Starbucks, and no, I’m not going with you.” I told her. Wait, did that actually come out of my mouth.

‘What. Did. You. Say?” Perrie questioned me. I just stared at her.

“You heard me Perrie Louise, I’m not going with you. The fact that you pay people to like you is sad. The fact that you want to be the best at everything is also sad. I pray for you Perrie. No matter how much damage you cause, you can’t make someone like you. Maybe one day, some crazy person might like you, just know that it won’t be me.” I stood up to leave.

“Um no, you can’t leave!” she began to say.

“Um yes, yes I can.” And with that, I walked out the door. I didn’t have much money for the trip back to school, so I would walk half, it wasn’t too far.

Finally, Perrie sees what it’s like to be put down, to feel tormented. She can’t do any harm, she’s weak. This means she can’t stop me from being with Ari.

Ahh, did this really happen??? Yes, yes it did. It’s so sad, this story is almost over. Maybe 10 chapters is too much, I think maybe 5 is about enough. It seems like Zayn and Ariana will finally be together, right? How knows, all you need to do is read, vote, and comment. Love you guys, thanks for reading this story, from the beginning to end. J So sorry I haven’t updated, but since I’m on winter break, I can, at least I’ll try.
