"Luke, get yourself back here," I yell at the top of my lungs inside a club at Gangnam gaining probably everyone's attention.
To say I was drunk would be an understatement. The club was probably packed with people swaying around on the music that I don't understand but it does sound cool. My best friend was in town. Being the rich brat that he is, we booked the private sitting area.
While Luke was by the bar counter I thought to take a stroll around by myself which you people would call a "bad idea."
Wait, I spy with my eyes someone sitting nearby. At this point, the alcohol was taking over me. "Oh, hello stranger," I said as I sat next to the person dressed in all black.
Stranger's POV
I was sitting alone in a dark corner in the club enjoying my drink. And yes, I don't mind drinking alone. This club is quite crowded today than the rest of the days. What if someone sees me and leaks my picture? Just when all these thoughts started hitting me, someone called me out.
"Oh, hello stranger," says a girl with brown eyes. She seemed different than people around. How did she find me and why out of all the places is she sitting here, right next to me?
"여기 지하철에서 빈 자리를 잡는 것이 얼마나 어려운지 아십니까?"("Do you know how difficult it is to get a vacant seat here in the subway?") said the girl.
"My life is...well how do you say f*ck in Korean? Well, nevermind my feelings are in English." I am not fluent at English but I could understand it. She went on ranting about her life and her expressions were quite amusing.
"I want chicken or a boyfriend but I'm not about the commitment, and I'm craving KFC," she blurted out with many other things she said but this one made me laugh hard.
"Auclair, you shouldn't just sit around with anyone. People can be dangerous and you shouldn't trust people to share things about your personal life," a handsome to all man said gently getting her up from the couch. Seemed like he knew her.
"Yeah like I can trust you. You said you are here to see me and you thought I would believe that. Yeah, you come with a surprise quite a few times but everything has a reason and let's be honest about it. And by the way what happened at your home? Let me tell you, your parents forced you for marriage and you're here so I can act as your fiancé, right? Honestly, I am offended. They have known me all my life and they still underestimate my observing skills, huh
And who's idea was it? Your sister's? I am telling you they're all involved in it. Drop this idea, they ain't getting you married anytime soon." The "seen everything in life" girl who was next to me a minute ago ranted and I gotta say it was quite aggressive.
"와우, 내가 K- 드라마에 나오는 것 같아."("Wow looks like I am in a K-Drama,") I said not realising I said it out loud.
"닥쳐 주 시겠어요?"("Would you please shut up?") That young man, who I suppose is her friend or boyfriend looked at me. He knew Korean, impressive.
"How dare you to ask me to shut up?" The girl glared at him thinking he asked her to instead of me.
And the very next moment, she blacked out.
Who is she, by the way?
