I felt so blind in this cave. I reached a turn of complete darkness and planted another torch. My once 64 stack was now reduced to 10 torches. If I found coal I bet I would be fine but not even that ore I could find. I was beginning to think this cave held nothing, when I saw it.
They said it would feek good when you found your first diamond. But, wow this is on a whole 'nother level. I stared at the beautiul blue ore and I rushed over pratically throwing my pick as I ran. As I reached it I picked up my white pickaxe and buried it deep into that rock. I heard diamonds come in packs of 3 actually, so I think I'll make a diamond pick axe. I took , my tool and buried it into the ore again, when I heard footsteps. I turned around and saw a green and black disgusting creatures walking towards me, slowly. I knew it would destroy he diamonds I had long searched for, and so I decided I needed to kill it first. I switched to my iron sword and got into a good position to fight. I charged it amd wwung my sword deep into the creeper, making it fall back with a disgusting hissing soumd. I saw it start to expand and I leapt back hoping I wasnt to late. As I did this it let itself deflate again. And once again it charges me. I did the same thing, only this time I snuck in two hits as I leapt back once more. The creeper now was very weak, covered I cuts with small spurts of gun powder coming from the open wounds. I took a step back and threw my sword hoping deeply I had aimed well, the sword struck it in the head and the creepers head came clean off, with a satisfying, final hiss. I had won. And I now had me some diamonds, I also got some gunpowder while doing it.
I woke up confused from the dream... I will never know where I get half of these ideas in my head. That creeper was probably the most original idea I ever had. Which is odd, because the Steve in the town of Minetopia was just a normal farmer nothing else. I wasnt a miner, nor have I ever been in the mine, nor have I ever been taught the ores in the mine were called, nor did anyone tell me, and I also have no desire to be a miner. The miners job must be terrifying. As children your assigned tasks from the start and taught all you need to know of the subject and only that subject. And children assigned miner have to learn strengh of picks, ore types, which is the best ore, crafting recipes, yadda yadda yadda. But... they also are taught sword techniques. Because, miners have to leave the walls to go out mining, and outside the walls there are, mobs. Not the friendly ones like ours... but the ones that try to kill you. Often miners dont return after they went out so I am glad I was never given that job. So my dreams that I have of being a miner, I deem nightmares no matter how happy and alive I feel in there.
I got up and opened my chest and took a piece of bread out and ate it in a few, quick bites. It wasnt very filling however usually in the morings my belly is still full from dinner so nothing very fancy is needed. After I finished it off I opened up my chest again and grabbed my stone hoe, and leather cap and walked outside to check my farm. My farm was made up of mostly wheat. However it also had some carrots and potatoes and melons and sugar cane and pumpkins here and there. I placed on my leather cap to cool me off from the heat outside and started walking out to starr my days work. I went out and trimmed the things that had grown and replanting the crops when they did. Because of my farms vastness it took me an hour to do this. After I did I went back into my small house and started making bread with the wheat. After I did this I walked out and walked to the chests sitting right outside of my property. I put my wares into them(each chest was labeled with what should be inside it. A man wearing a blue skin walked over and said unhappily,"g'morning steve. Hows life?" The mans name was Wardo, he was tasked delivery and he doesn't like it ever, so he usually pouts. I smiled at him and said," life fairs well enough I suppose. And what of yours?"This was routine of us and usually when we did this he would respond, " as well as a pig Steve. But thats to be expected really yes?" However today he took me by surprise by saying "well usually I am not happy with this task however, today I got me a good piece of info I am to share around to people. No, not good, not at all, but interesting. You see when I walked to the Mayor today, he gave me my pay of 50 golden ingots and as I was about to leave he told me his daughter went missing and I am to tell everyone this news so we can find her!!! How odd is that Steve???" I was surprised as well. But if you ask me I think Mayor SkythekidRS (pardon me if I spelled his name wrong.) Was overeacting. Delila( Sky's daughter) might've just gone for an early morning walk, and she would be back soon. However... I did feel sorta worried. Before I could delve to deep into my thoughts Wardo spoke up saying, "well amyway here ia your pay Steve. 20 golden ingots. Anyway see ya later, I'll take these to the market and library now(the sugar cane is for the library. Seriously maybe its because I wasn't taught librarian crafts but how does sugar cane help in a place your meant to read???) Anywho see ya!" I watched for awhile Wardo leave before I took my 20 ingots and set out for town. Even though I was sure she was ok I figured I could look for Delila because there wasnt much for me to do now, and maybe while I am out I will grab some mushroom stew....
