Kirstie, Mitch and I flew into LA on the 28 of September. None of us had been to LA before so we had no clue where we going. We got in a taxi and he took us to the hotel we were staying in. It was a small hotel that didn't cost much, because if we didn't get through we didn't want to pay extortionate amounts on being in a hotel for two days.

On the 29 we met Avi and Kevin. Avi arrived first. He walked in and smiled at the three of us. "Hi I'm Avi." He said. His voice was unbelievably deep. I was blown away. That's when I realised that he was the one for us.

Kevin arrived soon after. He was so nice. He had the biggest smile I had seen in my life.

We rehearsed once, then twice, then three times. It was the best thing ever. All our voices fitted together perfectly. It was like magic. Like we were meant for each other.

The next day and we went to the auditions and it could not have gone better. The judges were blown away. We got through to the first week.

We went on to sing ET in the first week and the Your Love is my Drug in the second but of course you know how that went down. We went on to win The Sing Off which was possibly the best thing to ever happen to us.

It was now three years later. 2014 to be exact. That Travis guy turned out to be a right asshole. Mitch and him dated for two years, they even got engaged but they began to argue like crazy. Their relationship ended when Mitch caught him cheating on him with a girl. A girl!

We had started SuperFruit in 2013 too and got our Sphinx cat, Wyatt. Mitch and I lived in a small apartment in LA. We spent every second of our lives with each other. We were closer than we had ever been before.

As for Pentatonix, we had released three EPs and two Christmas albums. That was when we found out....

"Have you looked at the Grammy nominations yet?" Jonathan, our manager asked when we were in rehearsals. He seemed sort of suspicious. Like there was something he wanted to tell us.

Mitch and I sat down on the couch, Kirstie, Avi and Kevin sitting across from us. Esther, who was Avi's sister stood behind us. She handed me an iPad and I searched through the Grammy nominations.

"Best song written for visual media. Of course Let It Go got nominated." I stated still scrolling. There were a lot of categories this year. "Best arrangement, accapella or instrumental." I stated wiggling my eyebrows. I looked down at the screen again, my eyes focusing on one word. Pentatonix! My eyes almost popped out of my head.

I handed the iPad to Mitch and he looked at me, like I was crazy. His eyes flicked down at the screen. He looked at it unsure. He placed his glasses onto his head and his mouth dropped open.

"No way! Are you sure that's right?" He asked looking up at Jonathan. Jonathan nodded his head and pulled his laptop out to show us an email he had gotten. Avi, Kirstie and Kevin quickly scanned through the email, all of their facial expressions turning surprised.

"Wow!" Kevin exclaimed blinking hard and then reading the email again. We all exchanged looks. The silence was completely unbearable.

"We're nominated for a Grammy!" I shouted jumping up out of my seat. Mitch jumped up too and fell into my arms. We both jumped up and down in circles squealing. Kirstie joined the hug too. Then Kevin and Avi. Then Esther and Jonathan. Soon we were all jumping up and down.

Mitch and Kirstie looked at each other and screamed. "Oh my god!!!!"

Once we all calmed down we all took turns to call our parents. Kevin first. "Hi mom." He said smiling. She was on loud speaker.

"Kevin!" She exclaimed.

"Mom, I've got some news. You know I said to you when I was in high school that I'd take you to prom and it never really happened. And then I told you not to worry, that one day I'd take you to the Grammy's?" Kevin asked.

I could hear his mom intake a huge breath. "Yeah?" She asked suspiciously.

"Well I'm taking you to the Grammy's!" Kevin said excitedly. I heard her scream on the other end of the line. She said how proud of him she was and how happy she was for us and she said how much she loved him. We all had tears in our eyes by the time he hung up.

"How are we supposed to do this another four times?" Mitch asked. I shook my head wiping a tear from my eye. Avi and Esther were next.

"Hey dad, mom." They both said when the phone was picked up. They explained everything to their parents and they had the same reaction that Kevin's mom had. So did Kirstie's mom and dad. They were all so happy for us. It was Mitch's turn next.

"Mike!" He said when his dad answered.

"Mitch, how's my boy?" He asked.

"I'm great actually. Is Mom there?" He asked. It was funny how Mitch used his dad's first name and yet he still called his mom, Mom.

"Nel!" I heard Mike say. There was a short pause before she came to the phone.

"Mitchy!" She said.

"Are you both listening?" Mitch asked. "Well I've got some news. Pentatonix have been nominated for a Grammy!"

"Oh my god, Mitchy!" The both said. Same reaction as everyone else's parents, leaving all of us in tears again. Just me to go now.

"Mom, Dad." I whispered when they answered. I couldn't hold it in any longer. My mom and dad were talking about something and I cut them off mid sentence. "Mom. Dad. Pentatonix have been nominated for a Grammy!" I exclaimed. They screamed so loud that I dropped my phone to the ground. Once they had calmed down we hung up.

We all went home after that. Too exhausted from all the excitement. Mitch and I fell onto the sofa when we got in. We sat there in silence for a minute until Mitch burst out laughing.

"Oh my god! We're Grammy nominees!" I said laughing.

"We are!" Mitch shouted. "We should open a bottle of champagne." He suggested.

"We should open two bottles of champagne!" I said standing up and walking to the fridge.

We started the bottles and as they got lower and lower in capacity, Mitch and I got more drunk and more drunk. The heart to hearts kept getting deeper and deeper. Until the words coming out of our mouths were hardly audible.

"Do you remember when we were fourteen and I had just come out to you?" Mitch asked. I nodded. "And you were dating Kirstie!" Mitch laughed. I nodded again laughing along. "And we were sat on your bed and you said something about not knowing if you were gay or not. And then I offered to kiss you and we made out." I nodded again, giggling.

"I thought we weren't going to talk about that!" I snickered, covering my mouth with my hand and putting the bottle down.

"We're not talking about it. I was wondering if you remembered what it felt like to kiss me because I remember what it felt like to kiss you. You are a good kisser." Mitch stated poking my chest.

"I remember what it was like, of course. You're not too bad yourself." I laughed looking at him. The laughing died out a little bit and I was suddenly lost in Mitch's eyes. This hadn't happened in a long time. I had pushed my feelings to the back of my mind. It was hard considering people shipped us so hard.

Mitch's hand moved up to cup my face, his eyes flicking down to my lips. "What are you doing?" I giggled. He shook his head smiling brightly.

That's when he started to lean in. And so did I. It was like a magnetic pull. I couldn't stop myself. Our lips pressed together. They moulded together perfectly.

We pushed in closer to each other, deepening the kiss. Our chests almost pressing against each other. My hand slipped under his shirt to press against his chest. He moved his hand to the back of my head to twist his fingers in my hair. His tongue darted out of my mouth, to drag along my bottom lip, asking for entrance. I immediately let him in. His hand tugged on my hair causing me to moan a little.

I could feel the tightening in my pants. How far were we going to go with this?
