Damien took up the reading next.

A week later at breakfast, six large screech owls came swooping into the Great Hall with a long parcel. Everyone stared at the package in wonder for who it could be for. They swooped to the Gryffindor table and dropped it right in front of Harry Potter.

Iris, along with her friends, scoffed and rolled her eyes. "Of course." She said as Harry tore open the letter and red through it. "I bet it has something to do with Professor McGonagall and Oliver Wood." She grumbled.

Many grumbles were heard from the readers.

Harry and Ron stood up moments later and hurried out of the great hall.

"That is so wrong." Nico said looking distracted.

"They care more about winning the house cup than anything else." Alec said with a nod.

"I can't believe the board of directors around allowing this." Felix frowned.

"I am going to send a letter to my dad, see what he has to say." Draco said as he, Crabbe and Goyle got up and walked out of the great hall.

Iris looked down thoughtfully as as random thought occurred. 'I wonder what it would have been like if Voldemort did succeed in killing me.' She glared darkly down at the table.

Scorpius looked up and whimpered. He was back to his human side, laying on the floor his his head on Walker's leg.

Hearing gasps all around her she looked up and saw everyone staring at her in horror. It was then she realized that she had said this out loud.

"You don't mean that!" Daphne said in shock.

"W-well..." Iris stammered. "I...I just--"

Nico put a hand on her. "Please don't let them get to you." He said pleadingly.

"They don't." Iris said reassuringly. "It was just....a random thought is all." She said trying to cover up her mistake of speaking out loud.

"Please Iris, don't think like that." Bella whispered.

The group all glanced at each other at a loss for words.

"I already lost two sisters. I don't want to lose another one." Nico mumbled looking down sadly.

"Two?" Bella asked with a gasp.

Iris flinched a little bit hearing what he had said. She leaned over and hugged him tightly. "You are not getting rid of me that easily." She said reassuringly. A warmth washed over her when she realized that he had called her sister.

So what if Harry didn't want her anymore...it was clear her friends did, and apparently Nico and Alec claimed her as their sister, that alone made her heart leap with joy.

Scorpius smiled weakly, however, this was all the energy that he could muster before he passed out right there where he lay.

Iris grinned a little and turned back to her food and started eating again.

"Hey look!" Theo said suddenly.

Everyone looked up and saw Rose on the teachers table.

Laughter rang through the throne room.

"She must really like Professer Mcgongall." Tom says amused.

Bella raised an eyebrow at this.

"Rose!" Iris exclaimed with wide eyes.

Rose looked over hearing Iris and then purred as Professor McGonagall pets her.
