JMR was next to take up the book.
"Can we break after this chapter?" Bella asked. "i believe there is something we need to discuss" she says pointedly.
"Of course" JMR agrees automatically.
The next day found the group in transfiguration class. They were currently trying to turn a pen into something else. Iris stared at the pen blankly. She had been trying for the past 10 minutes to change the pen into a bowl, nothing was working.
"Iris, you are forcing it too much." Selene said.
"You do it then if your so smart!" Daphne snapped.
"Uh oh. Scorpius is not going to like that" tom flinched.
Iris flinched as she was reminded of their first lesson with professor Flitwick. What was it going to take for those two to like each other?
Selene shrugged and then turned her attention to the pen. Chanting the spell the pen turned into a silver cup filled with a red liquid.
"ooohhh"
JMR chuckled. "It seems to me that he...er she took that rather well"

corpius looked up at JMR with a dead look as he curiously began to wonder. Jmr seemed to he taking this rather well....or was he like damien and thought that this was all pretend?
Everyone stared in surprise and shock. Iris's jaw dropped.
"Oh my!" McGonagall said in surprise having witnessed the whole thing. Selene handed it over to McGonagall.
"For you, milady." She said with a charming smile.
"are you seriously flirting with the teacher?" Tom deadpanned.
"Shut up," Scorpius says flatly.
McGonagall took it and looked it over before taking a sip of it. "Mmm, how long will this last?" She wondered to herself. "30 points to Slytherin." She added.
"The cup or the wine?" Selene asked.
"Both." McGonagall replied.
"good question" Bella says thoughtfully.
Selene shrugged and looked at Iris. "I don't recommend trying that just yet." She added. Iris determined to do the best she can, after seeing Selene's work, turned to her pen and concentrated while chanting the spell and working on the wand movements.
"No no no." Selene said taking her wand and setting it down. "Don't worry about the movements." She said scowling "That's where your problem is. You are focused on the movement more than the actual spell." She explained.
"But...we need the wand to do the spell." Theo said looking confused. Selene sighed and shakes her head a bit.
"you are just over thinking things and complicating it more than it has to be" Scorpius scowled.
"Just try the spell." She said. Iris stared at the pen keeping the image of the form she wanted the pen to take and confidently spoke the spell. Her eyes widened in alarm as the pen changed into a
Iris felt a little disappointed. "What? I wanted a dragon not a unicorn!"
Jaws dropped as they stared at the Book in JMR's hand.
She exclaimed getting everyone's attention. Selene started stammering as she stared at the unicorn.
"Will I never live that down!" Selene grumbled to herself turning a tint of red and looking away.
