A/N: I got inspired to write this from Tove Lo's song Talkig Bodies. Its complete fiction, because as of two fragmans ago and everything we know about episode 19 none of what it's written here is how the episode will unravel, but I had this idea and I just had to get it out.
Warrning: Explicit and mature content!
Enjoy! :)
---------------------------------------
After a week of playing a game of cat and mouse with Serkan, Eda was exhausted. Ever since she more or less declared war on him in that restaurant, the tension between them had multiplied by tenfold. His back and forth was driving her insane. One second he was telling her everything is over between them and acting like he doesn't give a crap about her, and the next he was getting in her face, in her personal space, meddling in her life, acting all jealous and possessive.
And then, there were those tiny moments of content and easiness when she, just for a moment, would forget that they are no longer a couple. That he broke up with her in the most heartbreaking way. That he chose his work over her. She would forget that and she would smile at him and he would smile at her, and they would laugh. And he would look at her with those loving eyes of his, whose exact colour she still couldn't definitively pinpoint. They often changed depending on his mood, but whenever he was looking at her they were in all vivid colours, mostly green and gold. It was hypnotising and his gaze held power over her. A lot of power.
Whatever their colour was in those moments, when he looked at her she still felt his love. The love he was now insisting he forgot. And in those moments she felt as confused as she ever was. If he could still smile at her that way, if he could still look at her that way, if he still loved her, why did he leave her? What was the real reason? True, he told her to stop digging, but in those moments, she couldn't help herself. Because somewhere deep down, under all of her denials, she knew he was hurting just as much as she was right now.
Eda needed a distraction. If she was to spend even a second more dwelling on this issue, she was gonna lose her mind. So when the guy sitting next to her in one of her lectures, Serkay, asked her if she wanted to go out for drinks with some of his friends tonight, she said yes.
Serkay was a decent guy. He was polite, funny, outgoing. He had blonde hair that he kept neatly combed. His blue eyes sparkled whenever he flashed her one of his infectious smiles, revealing his perfectly white teeth. Some people may say that it was weird for her to enjoy the company of a man who so resembled her ex, but that was a matter she figured she could discuss with her future therapist. With the way things were going she was bound to end up with one. Soon.
Eda went home after school. After having dinner with her aunt and the girls she went to get ready. She invited the girls out with her, but Ceren had an early meeting tomorrow, Melo preferred to spend the evening watching her favourite dizi and Fifi gave a vague explanation that she had something work-related to do.
Eda took a shower, did her makeup, a daring cat-eye combined with a screaming red lip, and let her hair fall in her usual waves. She rummaged through her closet and decided on a black strapless jumpsuit with a very low cut V-shaped back. She threw her favourite leather jacket over her shoulders, picked up a red clutch with a gold chain, and put on a pair of white sneakers. The only piece of jewellery she had on was her engagement ring, purposely put on her middle finger and some earrings.
The club was packed. Once inside Eda started to look around. She quickly spotted Serkay. He was standing at an elevated booth across the entrance. His white shirt gleaming under the fluorescent lights. She barely made her way through the crowd to him and the group he was with.
