Loosen Up, Black!

If Only

*This takes place in heaven with Lily, Dorcas, and Marlene the dead three of the five girls. This is around the time when Harry is searching for Horcruxes in the woods with Ron and Hermione*

"Good Morning Lil" I yawned stretching my arms as I sat up in my bed and looked over at Lily who was sitting on the couch drinking tea.

"How'd you know I was here?" 

"You turned the lights on then said OH SHIT and turned them back off at 6:45 when you came in"

"I thought you were asleep!" Lil looked at me like I was insane.

"I was" I winked at her.

"Good morning my beauty queens" shouted Dorcas as she pretty much kicked down the door to my room.

"Mornin' gorgeous" Lil and I giggled in sync.

"I just watched to old ladies fight over who would have to attend the other's funeral" Dorky informed us laughing her arse off the whole time.

"Pfft, that sounds like us as old ladies!" I snorted.

"IMAGINE" Lils gasped before laughing.

"I'd probably go something like... Ah, Dork-ass was it your funeral I was supposed to attend last Wednesday? What a shame I must've missed it, Darn" I began in my best impression of an elderly lady's voice.

"Har har, I'm pretty sure it was Lily's funeral" Dork continued.

"Hi, guys!" Lil popped in.

"WHO DIED?! ARE WE ALL IMMORTAL?!" I screeched.

"How are you doing, Marly, sweetie? I know the funeral was rough on you." Lil smiled softly.

"Me? I've been fine! I don't even know who died"

"wait a minut-"

"Marl, Wednesday was Sirius' funeral"

"HA!" Dorcas broke character, " I mean tragic, I'm so sorry hun"

"That would explain why he hasn't been around the house"

"Excuse me if I disappeared, no matter how old you are, you'd notice that something awesome was missing!" A very offended Drama Queen stated as he entered the room just to make me scooch to one side of the bed so he could lay down while I had to sit up.

"Shut up and let us finish" snapped Dorcas. With that, we continued with our fantasy.

"Wait do my children know?" I asked in a panicked elderly voice but I couldn't hide the emotions that dripped into it. I hate it when I remind myself that I never got to have a family that I raised myself. Sirius seemed to have since my thoughts and he sat up and pulled me close engulfing me in an embrace from behind.

"We...all...were there, we all gave speeches" Lil added with a solemn smile.

"I dId WhAt?!?!??!!"

"Have you been to St. Mungo's lately for your dementia, Mars Bars" Dorcas grinned evilly at the comment.

"Those Healers are trying to kill me, with all their fancy spells and colorful pills, but HA THEY CAN'T FOOL THIS QUEEN!"

Dorcas whispered under her breath, "Merlin, this is old us!"

"How many times must I go over this they're trying to help you!"

"Lily you're so naive, that's only what they want you to believe"

"I suddenly see why Sirius died"

"No, no, Lil, she has a point"

"Not you too" groaned Lily.

"They just can't handle the fact that my smart arse is going to overthrow the Ministry"

"Marly Darling, you are a long since retired Auror who lives in a huge manor with 4 children and cleans in your free time. How are you gonna take over the Ministry by yourself?"

"Don't doubt her" warned Dorky

"I'm gonna have to second elderly Dorcas" Laughed Sirius interrupting us again and kissing my cheek.

"With style and," I paused to add dramatic effect took a deep breath, "✨Attitude✨" Dorcas absolutely lost it and began laughing into her hand which did nothing to muffle it, Lil was shaking her head with the utmost disappointment but also a small smile, and Sirius snorted and buried his face into my neck and chuckled quietly.

"I have no bloody clue why I agreed to meet up with you two, gits" smiled Lil trying to get back into character.

"Wait... this was planned?!" I acted shocked.

"Hold up y'all are those small beings making fun of us?!" 

"WHERE?! I'll stop them!"

"Mar you aren't as young as you used to be-" Lil began, but I cut her off.

"Yeah right, I haven't aged past 20" which isn't really a lie, I almost laughed at the irony.

"I- alright whatever wakes you up in the morning" Lily sighed.

"Her stubbornness is what keeps her alive at this point!" laughed Dork

"If that isn't the truth" chuckled Sirius as he smiled at me while I snuggled further into his arms.

"I wish we got to grow old together, all I ever did was die then get to watch the rest of your guy's lives unravel, and I wanted to comfort you all the time especially those 12 years you were in Azkaban" I melted into Sirius' embrace.

"Shhh," he hushed my and held my close, "I know the pair we would've made you and I."

"Do you ever wonder about what our lives could've been? Like how many children, if any, or who would be Harry's favorite, or what trouble we would've gotten into, or our jobs?"

"I stopped letting impossible things into my mind by the third year of Azkaban," He muttered to me, "but I used to all the time"

"Ewwwwwww" Dorcas scrunched up her nose and pretend to vomit.

"Leave them be, they're being cute again" Lil scolded playfully hitting her arm.

"Cute?" I smirked and looked a Sirius.

"If you don't want cute we could always-" Sirius started.

"GUYS, QUICK, NOW, HURRY!" James shouted with a terrified expression on his face as he burst into the room. We all jumped up and rushed after him following him to the viewing room where we watched over Harry and Remus and our loved ones.

"What is it?" asked Lily worried for her son she could no longer protect. James' face went white as snow as he turned to her, I couldn't help but feel a chill and wave of worry wash over me.

"They were caught by snatchers" He spoke shakily.
