CHAPTER FOUR
𝚂𝚒𝚡 𝚍𝚊𝚢𝚜 𝚕𝚊𝚝𝚎𝚛

"I look so pretty, thank you," The girl smiled at Curioss then ran her fingers through her newly installed wig.

"You welcome," Curioss grinned. It was a Thursday afternoon and she was currently working at her sister's Salon, ofcourse, it was hard for her to get a job because of the time she faced. Luckily, when it came to doing hair she always made people felt satisfied.

Reina's phone began to ring and she let out a sigh, already knowing who was calling her.

"Remni baby please listen to Ra'jah I'ma be home soon and don't be giving ya Oma any trouble lil girl." She hung up and rolled her eyes at Curioss, tucking her phone in her backpocket then ran her fingers through her client's hair.

Anya, a girl that recently got hired a few months ago snickered while eavesdropping. Curioss didn't interact much with her because she noticed sneaky vibes and she didn't like that. The moment Curioss walked in the store her eyes never left her, it was annoying.

"They deadass got the same names," She told the girl next to her, "Both they mamas ghetto as fuck."

Reina turned her head at the mention of her daughter and brother, "I'll have you walk out this bitch with a bald spot, you need to mind ya business bitch."

Curioss observed Anya while holding back her sister, she knew that she didn't play about her babygirl and with her being the oldest one out of all her siblings her overprotective ways kicked in.

"That hoe messy, bitch lucky I'm not tryna go back in a cell" She thought, releasing Reina's arm.

Anya sucked her teeth sizing Curioss up and down then let out a small chuckle.

Curioss shook her head and smiled "Bitches wasn't gon get buck with me anyway," and she knew that. Curioss was never the arguing type, between her and Reina she was always quiet and humble never said or do too much unless triggered. The quiet ones are always the most dangerous.

Reina rolled her eyes then went back to doing her client's hair. She wasn't a messy ass bitch so she didn't felt the need to fire them over one weak comment.

The bell rang, notifying them that someone had entered the Salon, all heads turned and began to eye the person that stepped in.

Curioss was so occupied in cleaning her workstation that she didn't notice the man that stood behind her.

"Oh, uhm hi," She muttered with a shocked expression when she saw him. Saint chuckled and sat himself down in her chair, staring at her from the mirror that was placed infront.

Curioss hesitated and Reina gave her a knowing look.

She looked at his hair which he barely had enough to braid, "What should I do with it?" She asked raising an eyebrow.
