Mr. Cold CEO

Chapter 1

"YOU ARE NOT DOING THIS RIGHT! ONE SIMPLE PROJECT, YET YOU FAILED! WHAT DO I PAY YOU FOR? HUH?! YOU ARE USELESS!  YOU ARE FIRED!!!"" a loud voice came from our boss' office. Another day, another employee to scold. That is Mr.Kim. Kim company's highest pride. Strongest, unbeatable powerful and the coldest person I know. I just started working in the company since 3 months ago, and not even one time have I see him smile, laugh or anything a cold person would not do. His is the definition of perfect, as they say. Every girls would go crazy for him, even moms. My bestfriend Mia, is literally so in love with this man and I  don't even know why. Besides his negative side, let's talk about the positive one. Despite of being cold and heartless, I admire him for just one thing. His a professional. When it comes to work, he always knows what to do. In every problem, he has a solution prepared. He doesn't want to be beaten. Some people says that he only got the CEO  position because of his dad. But I, I see him differently. I know he got this job not only because of his father, but that he has great potential. Well if he haven't, then why would his father hand him the company? And who are we to resign? I mean he pays well but he does not play well.

"HARA!" Oh no. "Yes sir?" "COME HERE NOW!" I started sweating thingking this is my death. "Yes sir, I'm coming!" I quickly stood up from my paper works and went to his office. "What is it si-" he cuts me off "Starting now, you will be my new secretary." I was in shock, not because I didn't want the position but this time I will be with him EVERY.SINGLE.DAY. I might even die soon. I just looked at him shivering, with sweat and my eyes widened. "Did you hear what I said?" he started to get impatient. "Y-es s-ir." I stuttered. "You are starting tomorrow, you got that?" I just nod forming my hand to a fist, "Use your words, Hara." he looked t me like he was gonna eat me a live with those eyes full of anger and impatience.  "Y-es sir!' with that I left still not believing what just happened. "So why did he called you?" my co-worker Jimin came to me. "I'm his new secretary." he froze "WHAT?! But did he just hired a new secretary this morning?" that's true. "Yes, but I don't have any choice! I mean I can't say no cause if I do, he'll fire me directly!" he nod in agreement "Well, good luck anyways" He smirked as I rolled my eyes in annoyance. 

Time skipped~

(Hara's house)

"Auntie!!!" my niece Soyang  came to hug me. "Soyang my baby, you miss auntie?" I opened my arms for her to hug me. "Yes Auntiee... I miss you so much!" I let go and pinched her cheeks. "Hara, your home." My older sister, Mara came to me. "Hi unnie, how are you?" we both hugged and she said, "I'm doing great how about you-" she was cut of by a voice that came from the stairs. "Mara, let Soyang have her lunch..." his smile slowly fades as soon as he saw me. I went to him and hugged him, sadly he didn't hug me back. "Hi appa, how are you?" he just nod and took Soyang with him. My tears were about to fall but I held them. Then my tears gave up, they fell. Mara noticed them then held my hand, "Unnie, appa still mad at me? here it is! I'm working. Hi still hasn't forget about that?" she pulled me in for a hug as I cried to her shoulder. "Don't worry Hara, he will forget about it and forgive you." I nodded and said, "Unniee, I think I'm just gonna eat out" "What? why?" I cleared my throat finding an excuse. "My friend and I actually have t-hings planned. Just tell Soyang that Auntie will visit again." She nodded as I left. As I was walking out, my tears wouldn't stop from falling. I went in my car going to my safe place.

At Han River

I was walking feeling the cold wind blew my hair. Even it was just noon, the vibe there is cool. Just chill, this is what I need. A place of relaxation, out of the city, my safe place. I sat down being alone. There where only a few people here mostly couples. I laughed thing king about me being the only one single. Then I remember, my first love. I wonder how he is. How he is doing. Well, we met, 19 years ago. I was just 3 years old and he was 4. We met cause our parents where really good  friends. The first day we met, I felt like all my pain disappeared. We started laughing about random things. Starting that day, I fell for him. Hard. We would play everyday likes there's no tomorrow. We would pull pranks on our parents, bake together, play with mud. I chuckled reminiscing those amazing memories. But then they went to America and lived there. I was heartbroken even just at the age of 7. They moved after 3 years being our neighbors. I didn't really know the real reason why they moved. It was there privacy. But before they left, he gave me a bracelet with our picture on it. We call each other by nicknames. We didn't really know our real names. He was, alien and I was bear. He got his nickname alien cause he has this beautiful face no one can explain. And cause he is weirdly cute. I got the bear nickname cause I love hugs, especially hugging him. Since the day he left, I felt lonely again, My parents would always fight and his the only one that comforts me. While I was lost in my thoughts, a girl screamed. "HELP! SOMEONE IS DROWNING!!!" I looked at where she was pointing and widened my eyes seeing a man floating. I panicked hesitating if I should help or not, Who am I kidding I cannot let anyone die just because no one's helping him. Not again. I quickly ran and took my coat off even if its a hundred degrees colder than other days. I went to the man whos was drowning as I put his arm over my shoulder, not gonna lie tho he was quite heavy with a small body of mine. People started cheering as I bring him to shore. My eyes widened when I realized who the drowning guy was....."T-aehyung?!"
