(Wooyoung POV)

"Wooyoung?"

I groan and prop my head up to look up at him "Yes?"

"Why can't I meet your family?" San asks sadly. I can see the sadness in his eyes as he asks this. I sigh

"You want to meet them?" And San nods his head excitedly which makes me laugh "I'm soulmates with a child."

"Aha that is incorrect! That my dear is pedophilia and very illegal and generally wrong. Now let's go!" He says climbing up from my bed

"Okay wait wait let me quickly go tell them and then I'll come get you, okay?"

"Fine." He huffs, rolling his eyes. I roll off my bed and then unlock my door

"Oh and San? Might wanna fix your hair!" I laugh and close the door. As soon as I step out my room, my brother meets me outside my room

"Wooyoung! Hey I was looking for you!" He smiled

"Well you found me." I smile falsely

"Yeah..... who were you talking to?" He says which makes me freeze

"N-nobody!" I stutter, which makes him more suspicious

"Doubt it. Let's see your room then!" He laughs and pushes my door open

"NO!" I yell and run in after him, but luckily San isn't anywhere to be seen. I smile and see my brother look around the other side of my bed. As he turns his back, I drop my phone off my desk and bend down to pick it up. As I do I can see San underneath my bed hiding.

"Your room is gross." My brother says and walks out the room "Mom is looking for you." And he closes the door. As soon as the door closes I hear San fall on the ground with a thud

"You're so lucky you're so loud or he would've found me." San says crawling out

"Ugh I know. Thank you. I'll be back again. I'm sorry!" I say, giving him a quick kiss and running out the room again to go find my mom in her room. I knock on the door

"Oh Wooyoung! Come in!" She smiles

"What's up mom Tae told me you called me?" I say taking a seat on the small couch

"Oh yes. We should honestly refer to him by his full name. He hates being called Tae." She laughs

"Yeah well calling him 'Taeyong' is just too long, don't you think?" I smile "You know my friend said he looks kinda old."

"Well I would age also if you count how he has so many friends that are almost like his children." She says resting her hand on her chin "Anyways enough about him. I wanted to talk to you about well, you."

"Oh well literally nothing interesting." I shrug "I know I haven't seen you guys in like 4 months but nothing has happened."

"How's school?"

"I've made a decent amount of friends yeah. I fit in well there and I love my teachers so it's all good." I smile

"That's great I'm happy for you!" She smiles "and tell me, any girlfriends?" My stomach just drops and my smile fades shortly, which I quickly paste back up

"Well actually um, no." I laugh nervously

"What??? How that's impossible just look at you! The girls must be crazy about you!"

"Actually i um I found my um soulmate." I say not making eye contact with my mom. I can feel her staring at me and smiling widely

"You're lying! Oh my when can we meet the lucky lady?!" She shrieks "Oh I'm so happy! When you guys get married I can dress her up so nicely in dresses and pretty shoes, and go flower shopping! Like the daughter I never had!" She rambles on excitedly but i zone out in my own thoughts

How can I tell her? What will she do? What if she kicks me out and disowns me?

"Wooyoung! What's her name?!" My mom shouts snapping me out of my thoughts

"Her name? Wha- oh yeah um about that." I say nervously. But then I tell myself to not be nervous because after all, I'm her son.

"What's wrong?" She asks with her smile fading

"Right. Well my soulmate isn't exactly a she." I say finally meeting my moms gaze

"I don't understand." She says confused

"My soulmate isn't a girl. It's a boy. And you wanted to meet them. Well you're in luck! Before you guys arrived, he was here. Better yet! He actually lives here now because his dad died, and he can't live alone! And if you have a problem with that, well then go ahead and disown me for something I have no control of, but not ashamed of." I say proudly and look at my mom who is frozen

"I don't know what to say."
