You Need Saving, Too

Izuku knew he's dreaming.

But Izuku still continued to walk the familiar corridors of the hospital. Izuku knows why he's here, he's supposed to be having a check up. His heat is coming in a week. He passed by a mirror and saw his eighteen-year-old reflection.

His eyes looked dead staring at his reflection.

And then, he smelled a familiar scent. Izuku is used to this by now. Ever since he learned he's got an omega inside of him, his omega would always tug on him when they smell something familiar.

Izuku got surprised as he watched his eyes slowly get life smelling the scent. Izuku's body moved on his own, and his feet brought him to the ob-gyne ward. There were babies crying and omega and beta mothers trying to hush their crying kids. There were pregnant omegas and betas around, smiling at their round tummy.

And there, at the end of the hallway, was another omegan mother. Her tummy, round and big- as if she's due soon. Despite her roundness, she still looks beautiful. She has this wavy silver hair and big round scarlet eyes.

She turned and smiled at Izuku. Izuku blinked twice before smiling back, walking to the lady. "Hello." Izuku started, his eyes fixated on her tummy. His omega is tugging at him, but what can Izuku do is the scent he's smelling is a kid not even born yet? He sighed to himself and ignored his omega. "Can I sit beside you?" he asked the lady.

The lady only smiled.

Izuku and the lady stayed like that for a while, no one was talking. And then, Izuku heard a pleasant voice, "Please take care of them."

Then, Izuku woke up.

Izuku gasps, his hands immediately on his round tummy, feeling his baby. He took a few deep breaths, calming himself. Izuku cannot remember the dream anymore, but he is sure that it is something that happened when he was younger.

Izuku felt like he met someone important when he was young and his dream made him remember but now, he's forgotten about it again.

He sighed, stroking his tummy slowly. "Ah!" he groaned, letting go of his tummy at once. He blinked, his eyes turning to peacefully sleeping Shouto. He gulped, feeling his heart beat faster.

He tried doing the breathing exercise his ob-gyne taught him, but then the contractions started again. Izuku closed his eyes, feeling himself.

Oh god, the bed is wet.

"Shouto!" he exclaimed, slapping Shouto once. But the alpha remained sleeping and Izuku felt the contractions again. "Shouto!!" he repeated, his slap harder than the first and his voice louder than earlier.

But the alpha is still sleeping.

Izuku felt another contraction. This time, it was harder than the first two. "Fuck!" he exclaimed. Izuku slapped Shouto repeatedly, non-stop. "You little shitty alpha- fuck. Why won't- you- WAKE UP!"

The alpha suddenly woke up, sitting up. He turned to Izuku sleepily. "Yes, honey.. Why..." he trailed off.

Izuku bite back another curse. "They're coming." Izuku gasps, breathing heavily.

Shouto had the nerve to scratch his eye, smiling, "Come again, Honey?" still sleepy.

"I'M GIVING BIRTH, SHOUTO!" Izuku shouted.

Shouto blinked once, before his eyes widened, he jumped out of them, continuously saying, "Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit." as he scoops up Izuku from their bed.

Once out of the room, Shouto shouted, with a loud voice Izuku never knew would come out of Shouto's mouth, his alphan voice present. "CODE EMI."

Izuku didn't know who woke up from the shout, but Izuku is sure someone is holding his hand at the back of the car while Shouto is driving.

Everything happened in a blur. One moment, Izuku is inside the cat. The next, he was inside the delivery room. All Izuku can feel is his contractions, and he can hear is Shouto telling him to "Push."

The next moment, he heard a cry.

Izuku cried, listening to his baby's cries. He felt Shouto beside him as the alpha whispered in his ear, "You made it, Izu. I'm so proud of you."

Despite the ache in his body, Izuku reached out when Shouto came into view with their little bundle of happiness. The alpha was crying as he scents the little kid.

Shouto smiled and placed their baby in Izuku's arms.

Izuku cried too, staring at her.

"Hello there, Todoroki Emi."
