Chapter 13

It was now Monday and Ebony was dreading going to school. Even though it was her own fault, she really couldn't bare to face Michael and Beth. Ebony knew she had ruined everything, but she hoped that she could've explained herself on Saturday, but obviously that didn't happen...

Ebony made her way to school while Lauren obviously had to stay at her house, but she was just going to spend the day with Inka and Delaney, as they didn't go to the school either.

Ebony she went to her first lesson which was English. With Michael and Beth.

"Hey guys" she said, sitting down next to Luke and Bella.

"Hey Ebony" Bella said.

"Have you seen Michael and Beth?" Luke asked sympathetically.

Ebony looked over to the couple on the other side of the room, who were laughing and smiling together before she said "yeah why? I doesn't bother me if that's what your insinuating"

Luke just held up his hands "sorry, just thought you'd like to know"

"Well Michael can date who he wants, I don't care" Ebony said, opening up her books.

"It doesnt seem like you don't care" Bella replied.

"Well I don't so can we just drop it" she insisted, just as the teacher began writing notes on the board for the class to copy down.

Ebony looked up from her books and made eye contact with Michael, who gave her a small smile, but she just scowled and looked away.

"Hmm, you sure you don't care?" Luke teased, after he saw what happened.

"Luke I said drop it" Ebony sighed getting back to her work.

"It's ok you know?" Bella said.

"What?"

"To admit that you like him!"

"If anyone says that again, I think I'll set myself on fire" Ebony said rolling her eyes.

When the bell went off, signalling the end of class, Ebony jumped up grabbing her books and quickly made her way out of the class room not bothering to wait for Luke and Bella.

"Hey Ebony" Michael greeted with a small smile, but she just looked away and walked down the corridor to her locker.

She was getting her stuff out for the next lesson when she saw Beth come down the corridor towards her.

"You haven't taken it well then?" Beth smirked, leaning against the locker next to Ebonys.

"What?" Ebony snapped, slamming her locker closed.

"Me and Michael. I told you he would always be mine didn't I? I mean, did you seriously think he would ever go for an ugly bitch like you?" She laughed.

"Well he went for you didn't he?" Ebony retorted.

"Don't speak to me like that you bitch!"

"Just giving you a taste of your friends own medicine, Beth. Why don't you stop strutting round the school like you own the place, everyone knows your just a bitch, and Michael will see sense soon enough" Ebony spat before leaving Beth standing by her locker while she made her way to the next class.

Ebony walked into her maths class and was waved over by Ashton who was sat with Mari and Michael.

"Hey guys" she said, sitting next to Ashton who had Mari on his right with Michael on the other side of her.

"Hey Ebony" Mari smiled.

She looked up to meet Michaels eyes but again, she looked away, leaving his smile to fade.
