Lila's POV:

I stumbled back a bit, the force of the hug nearly bowling me over. I was about to push them off and give them a piece of my mind, but when I saw who it was, I hugged back just as fiercely.

"Bella!" I whispered, "I've missed you so much."

"I've missed you too, Lila," my best friend said.

I pulled away and took a moment to study her. Bella's brown hair with natural blonde highlights brushed just passed her shoulders, and her brown eyes twinkled. She wore a pink shirt and jeans and radiated confidence.

"You guys know each other?" Drake asked.

"Yep," Bella grinned, "Cherry and I go way back. We're best friends." I smiled at the nickname, and she pushed me inside the room and tutted when she saw my skinny figure, "Girl, you need to eat! You're practically skin and bone!"

I laughed and promised that she could force me to eat as much as she wanted me to. I know I'm going to regret that later, but my joy blinded me. Isabella and I have been best friends since we were 5. She was there with me through everything. Especially a few years ago when I was at my weakest. However, Bella got adopted before me, and I haven't seen her in two years.

"So, everyone," Alessandro cleared his throat, and everyone turned to look at him, "today is a significant day," he looked at me and smiled, "our baby sister is finally found."

Wait; what?!

"Our what now?" My eyes were wide, and my jaw was practically on the floor.

"We got the DNA test results back," Drake was grinning, "you're our sister, Lila."

"Oh, wow..." Bella looked at me in shock.

"Xander, could you please come in?" Drake was smirking.

Xander came in. He was clutching my necklace and baby tag and had a dazed expression on his face, "It's her."

"You've been snooping in my room?" I was understandably angry.

"This was mum's handwriting," Xander murmured. I froze.

"So, you guys are really my brothers?" I whispered, finding the carpet very interesting all of a sudden. Bella patted my back and smiled.

"Yes," Drake said. I looked up to find all of the brothers with tears in their eyes- even Alessandro and Xander, "welcome home, Principessa."

The entire family were looking at me like I was some long lost treasure. I opened my mouth to say something, but suddenly, the world tilted, and everything went black.

Xander's POV:

I feel so ashamed. I was so mean to my baby sis. Over the years, I always thought that if we saw her again, I'd be the first one to recognise her and I'd spoil her and beat up any person who dared to hurt her. Instead, I called her names and hurt her.

Wow, I'm a bad brother.

When she fainted, I ran forward and caught her. The family crowded around, and Axel shoved through them and checked to see if she was okay. He sighed in relief and said she'd fainted from shock.

Meanwhile, I gently carried her up to her room and tucked her into the bed, "I'm sorry," I whispered.

I left the room; my thoughts swirling around my head. I decided to go to the gym and punch something before I do something I'm going to regret.

Lila's POV:

I was in the park. Two painfully familiar figures were in front of me. An eleven-year-old girl with long blonde hair, amber eyes and a smile that could light up even the darkest parts of the world. Next to her, was a boy the same age as her; with shaggy black hair and warm brown eyes, he was smiling as he looked down at me. I wanted to cry. I remember this day. It was the happiest day of my life before it went downhill.
