[Plot: Erin wants to take Jaylin to the doctor's office, but Jaylin is very stubborn, and doesn't want to leave Erin's side. What will happen next?]
"Babe?"
Erin called out from the kitchen. The smell of pancakes and syrup were strong, almost like heaven on a plate. Erin called a second time, no reply.
"Jaylin, I made you pancakes! Your makeup can wait!"
She called, her soft voice sounding like a lullaby as she climbed up the stairs. She opened the door to her partner's room.
She sat on the bed and gently shook Jaylin.
"..mm"
Jaylin mumbled, back turned to Erin.
Erin pulled down the covers and whispered,
"Jay jay? Is everything alright hun? Did you stay up last night?"
The black haired girl shook her head no.
"no Erin, please, let me sleep in.."
She snapped, pushing Erin weakly.
Erin put her hand on Jaylin's forehead, it was warm, warmer than the pancakes she had made.
"Gosh Jay, I know why you're irritated, you're not feeling well, aren't you?"
Jaylin sat up and faced Erin.
"No. that's not it, i'm perfectly fine."
"Are you, now?"
Erin giggled and patted Jaylin's back softly.
"Stop doing that! I'm not a ba- hshsew!
hshxew! hxwshew!"
"bless you baby"
Erin smiled, and handed her gf a tissue box
"You'll be needing these"
Jaylin gave her a pouty look.
"Hmph!"
After they got downstairs, Erin took Jaylin's temperature, and then covered her fully in blankets.
"Arb you suwe this is necebsary? I hab to go in to worbk, youb gnow."
"About that, i called in and told them you can't work today, you get the next 4 days off. Also, I'm taking you to the doctor's office."
Erin replied, handing her a tissue, then putting a pancake on a silver plate and handing it to Jaylin.
Jaylin dropped her fork.
"THE DOCTOR'S OFFICE? NO WAY. NOPE, IM NOT GOING!"
she yelled, looking like a child who'd just been denied candy.
"you are going jay jay, but don't worry, the next 4 days I'll spoil you a bit, okay? But from now on you have to take some meds and stay in bed."
Jaylin whimpered, putting her face into the blanket. Ever since Jaylin was a child, she'd always been scared of the doctors office, or hospitals in general. Her mother had died when she was very young, so to Jaylin, doctor's offices meant bad things would happen.
"Pllleaaaseeee don't make me go eri"
She begged, tears welling in her marshy green eyes.
"I'm sorry Jaylin, I know you don't like them, but in order to get better we have to go. "
"when are we going then.."
