I woke up from the couch this morning. When I got up off the couch, I couldn't help but wince in pain because my body was hurting from my inside to my outside. My interview wasn't until three, so I decided that I would just take a small jog. I really needed it, I had to find a balance, my life is terrible.
I walked upstairs and to my surprise, Tony was not here. What a relief! I took out my jogging outfit and ran my shower water. The only thing I could think about was the guy who was standing by my driveway last night. Who was he? It was weird that around that time of night after I get whatever Tony called sexual pleasure.. in which I hated.. this guy was outside. I wonder what he seen or heard.
After my shower, I got dressed. It was still early so, I went downstairs getting prepared to leave and walked into the kitchen. Thinking of what to cook tonight, I took out a whole chicken, seasoned it and place it in my crockpot with veggies, a few pieces of lemon and onions. Putting it on slow roast, I got my house keys, my cell phone and walked out the door.
It was pretty cool outside today. I imagine that a whole lot of people don't run because it was pretty quiet outside or so I thought. I started walking first down about a block or two and got my music together. I put my earbuds on and started on my way.
I ran about two blocks down before I started to slow down to walk again. I just so happen to run to a few coffee shops and a few other stores. I walked into one of them and it was a beautiful site. There were vintage art pictures everywhere, the lighting was beautiful and it was pretty packed almost. I guess this place was popular because it was set as a settled coffee shop but with class. And I enjoyed art plus singing, it was my life.
I looked around and spotted someone sitting down with their coffee. The guy had black curly hair about past his ear, a few curls dangled in the front, he was wearing a white hoodie with a tan looking trench coat hanging off the chair.
He was looking down reading a book and just so happened to look up at me and kinda smiled a little. His almond shaped eyes were gorgeous, his beautiful jaw line omg... I was dying on the inside. Damn, we stared for so long, I looked away because I was blushing. I cannot believe I was blushing! Someone that handsome has never made me blush like this, I just couldn't stop smiling.
"Next in line, please!"
I stepped up and the woman behind the counter got tickled at me. I had got tickled with her when she asked.
"You are very fond of our place huh? Are you from here? And what can I get you?" She said.
"Well yes I am and no I'm actually from California. Um, how are the Mocha Caramel Lattes here? On the go please" I said.
The woman rung me up and gave me a number slip.
"They are the best in town! And welcome to New York ma'am! When you number is called, come back up here, okay?" She said.
"Okay, thanks!" I said.
I wandered around the coffee shop, glancing at the pictures. Until I spotted one that caught my eye.

"You like this picture?"
I turned to the side. That voice rung in my ears like the sweet sound of a harp. And it was the guy who I spotted at the table. My heart started beating so fast."Um- well, this picture speaks to me." I said.
As I turned back to the picture, it felt like this guy was shooting heat to the side of my face because he was looking at me.
"How so?" He finally said.
"Well, this picture to me describes a broken woman, tired, stressed maybe. And from the looks of it, I got the impression of her being lonely and the shape of her stomach is either meaning she is pregnant or she was pregnant. Not only that there's nobody to comfort her, she's alone." I spoke.
