LAKE DAY FESTIVAL #2

*Y/N POV*

You return to the carnival , the sun starts to set over the sights and sounds of the lake day festival when you're atlast reunited with your friends. "so everybody did what they wanted to do?" asked cory , cody's eyes meet yours and he grins widely "yes" said cody , "looks like it's getting late , what should we do now?" i asked "i say we set up on the docks and watch the sunset" said cody  "that's a good idea codes!" said tyler "oooooooo! sounds romantic!" said coby  "well then, what are we waiting for? let's go!" i said , you all pile on the dock , ships still lazily floating in the water before you , banners swaying gently in the light breeze "the dock's a little narrow . we'll have to sit in twos if we all wanna fit" said cody  "that's adorable! just like grade school" said cory "who do you wanna sit next to y/n?" asked garret "i'll next to ty!" you said , tyler sits at the edge of the dock his feet dangling in the water , and pats the plank beside him "be my guest" said ty . As everyone takes their places you sit down next to him, letting your feet cool in the lake , and he drapes an arm around your shoulder "amazing.." you said , tyler sighs as he leans against you "you know , y/n . it's meant alot to me , getting to know you this past this week . your a good person , and those are hard to find" "i suppose what i'm trying to say is , i'm glad i met you" said ty "i don't know if i'm such a good person , tyler . i'm just a regular person trying their best" i said , tyler turns to you , "most people don't even try . the fact that you do, well, it just makes you just about the best person i know" said tyler  "you are better than me" i said , tyler laughs "you think so?" asked ty "yeah" i said , he slips an arm around your waist , pulling you close to his warm body as you watch the sun dip below the horizon , the perfect ending to a perfect day.....

"AHHHHHHHH!!" you all jump at the sound of  a piercing scream! "what was that!?" asked coby  "it sounds like someone's in danger" tyler , tyler and cody springs to their feet and run back to the festival. "guys! wait for us!" i scream , you and your friends follow them at a hurried pace 

you hear more screams as you reach center of the town and find the crowd in a state of chaos. tyler grabs ahold of a women as she runs past. "what is it? what's happening?" asked tyler "they came from the water! they're everywhere!" said the women "slow down lady! WHAT came from the water?" asked cody "RAHHHHHH!!" you turn to dozens of warped creatures weaving through the crowd "oh! these guys again!" said  garret

The world is a confused mess of feets and legs , and you roll desperately , trying to avoid being trampled "help! somebody!" you scream , all of sudden you feel yourself being hauled up  and out of fray , you stand dizzily for a moment , catching your breathe "y/n! are you okay? did you get hurt?" asked garret "i'm fine. but where's...." you search the crowd for your friends but all you see is strangers and vicious creatures attacking them , you turn just in time to dodge  a salivating monstrosity!.
