"Fang Xin, come back here you impulsive one! Your Mom and Aunt may have indulged you, but if I catch you, you'll be in for it." I shouted at the top of my voice.

Fang Xin was dashing around the house with my diary in hand, and I've been chasing him for the past thirty minutes.

"I'll give back your diary if you assist me with my podcast," he countered.

"How exactly should I help you?" I asked.

"Just share a personal story with me, something unrelated to work. My fans and I are curious about the spirit of the young CEO of XW Corp. Please, Ge, help your cousin out just this once," Fang Xin begged.

"You little pest, it's always me cleaning up after your mess. What are you even doing here? You were supposed to be in Yangshuo, working part-time and conducting research. And now you want to study literature? I already helped you with that, don't make me regret it," I replied, frustrated.

"Ge, I swear, this is just a one-time thing. The podcast is part of my project. Please, just help me this once. I won't bother you again," Fang Xin implored.

"You said that last time. Fine, I'll help you. What do you need? And don't even think about opening that diary," I said.

Fang Xin replied with a smirk, "Thanks, Ge. Here's your diary, you can have it back. I won't look at it. I just wanted to use it to get your attention."

"You little scoundrel, I really did spoil you too much," I shot back.

"Okay, let's do this podcast now. I have to leave tomorrow," Fang Xin said.

"Really, you just arrived an hour ago and pestered me for half an hour. And now you want to leave tomorrow." I felt a bit let down. Fang Xin is my cousin and the only person younger than me. I love to spoil him because I care for him.

"Why, Ge? Are you going to miss me?" Fang Xin asked with a cheeky smile on his adorable face.

"You little rascal," I said. "Okay, what do you want? Just tell me and get it over with."

"Gege is so nice. Alright, let's get back to the matter at hand. I need a story from you. Anything about your life, for example, your childhood, school life, college life, or love life. Anything interesting would be great, just not about work. Aunt always complains about how all you ever talk about is work." replied Fang Xin.

A strange feeling washed over me as I thought about my childhood, school life, college life, and love life. Everything seemed to revolve around one person, yet now I had no idea where that person was or what he was doing? Why did he leave me? Why did he run away? So many questions with no answers.

"Ge, what are you thinking about? Are you even paying attention to me? Geeeeeeee!" Fang Xin yelled.

I shook off the daze. "Fang Xin, stop shouting. Alright, I'll tell you about my childhood, school life, college life, and love life. To be specific, I'll tell you about a person named Xiao Zhan. Does that work for you?" I asked.

"That's quite a coincidence. Alright, let's start. Who exactly is Xiao Zhan?" Fang Xin asked.

""What coincidence? Xiao Zhan is Uncle Xiao's son. What's the issue?" I asked.

Fang Xin thought for a moment and replied, "Nothing, I just haven't seen him, so I don't know. Anyway, let's start. Let me just set up this recorder."

"Okay, you do that. I'll be back in a minute," I said.

I went to my room and grabbed my diary. Inside was a photo of two young men, around the age of 20, with one smiling and the other giving a cold stare. It was me and Zhan, six years ago. I placed it back and joined Fang Xin in the guest room.
