Clementine lay in her bed awake, she kept thinking about the events of today, and how she lost someone else.

She lost James, it was clear that he was closer to her and AJ than the rest of them and it was harder on her the most to see her friends show up with his head covered up with a dirty sheet.

She felt angry and sad and tired, she thought this thing with the raiders was over but clearly it wasn't.

They must have come back for revenge, they must have tracked them down or one of them managed to escape and go back and tell them what happened.

But if that was the case then why did they wait for months to make a move?

Something didn't add up and now Clementine was weighted by the burden of the danger they're now in.

She felt bad for herself, how was she gonna be able to help and protect and run when she was in this physical state?

She'd be a burden and eventually drag them down or get someone hurt or not protect them as she would.

And then there was Violet.

The thought of losing her, the thought of this happening to her was overwhelming and Clementine knew that Violet wouldn't have known and willingly put herself in danger but still she blamed her.

She blamed her for abandoning them for months and pushing them away, she blamed her for not taking this world more seriously and think that she could get hurt at any second of any day.

She was mad at her because she cared so much, but she didn't know how will this anger go away and how will she be able to handle her presence now that she's here?

But at the same time she blamed herself for this one decision she made in a split second, had she saved Violet maybe none of this would've happened to her and she wouldn't go through that pain and she wouldn't have pushed anyone away or pushed her away.

She was having mixed feelings about everything but mostly she blamed herself and she wished she could've saved everyone.

Because not long before Violet was taken, they had started something beautiful and they never had the chance to see it through.

And now with all of this Clementine didn't know if this was something they could work through or become friends again.

She decided her personal relationship with Violet can wait, she had more important things to think and worry about.

See this is what happens when you let someone in, and Clementine never thought she could feel like this.

This was all so new to her and she didn't know what she was supposed to do.

Violet walked into her old room, she was mentally prepared to clean up the dust first and then try to sleep even if she knew she wasn't going to.

She took a look at her room and surprisingly it was clean and a little messy like someone occupied it while she was gone, she approached the bed and found it messy as if someone was sleeping and just got up.

She looked at the desk and found an unfinished cup of coffee, she looked at the bottom of the desk and found a bucket full of bandages and another bucket with a little bit of medicine inside.

It didn't take her long to put two and two together, Clementine was obviously staying in her room.

Violet fell to her bed and started breathing heavily, she knew she hurt Clementine so bad, but it was only because she didn't want her to get attached and she didn't know how to deal with how bad she had already hurt her.
