Jungkook's hyungs were standing outside of the club when he and Rina exited the building. They were smoking blunts, their worries and thoughts drifting away with the smoke. Rina only glanced at them, having already forgotten about the vulgar man that had been gawking at her only moments before.

She was a little distracted, to be fair.

Changing back into her regular clothes was a challenge with her legs shaking the way that they were. She had to use Jungkook's arm to support herself, the aftershocks of their time in the private booth still coursing through her body with each movement that she made.

Jungkook, on the other hand, was on top of the world.

Until he heard his name from his hyung's mouth, of course. Rina was distracted, her eyes looking over to the route that they needed to take home.

"Why the fuck does he get everything? He gets all of the kills, every hot girl is all over him, and you said that he gets the biggest cut of the money?" his hyung questioned. Jungkook blinked at the exchange, not really caring much where it was going. Clearly, the man was just annoyed that he hadn't gotten Rina's attention.

"You know why he gets the biggest cut," the oldest hyung mumbled. He appeared to be the soberest of the group, his face crestfallen and annoyed with the words that were leaving the mouth of the other.

"Why? Because you're scared of him?"

"You aren't?" the oldest demanded, his eyes shooting to the other.

"Why don't you just tell his father where he is and be done with him?"

"Because if we turn our backs on him, he'll see us as an enemy. Is that what you want?"

The only thing that Jungkook cared about was the mention of his father.

Were they talking about the mean man?

The one that died on the kitchen floor?

Jungkook couldn't remember much prior to that, and Rina was never informed of where the mean man had acquired the young boy.

His past was unknown to both of them.

Rina had finally taken notice of the men outside of the club. Her wide eyes appraised the group before she turned to look up at the boy she was still clutching for support.

"Aren't those the men that you came in with?" she asked. Jungkook nodded. "Do you need to tell them that you're leaving?" she blinked up at him.

"He won't care about us once the Jeons pick him up."

The mention of Jungkook's family name caught Rina's attention. She tilted her head at the exchange between the men, finally listening to what was unfolding in front of her.

"And what if he does? What the fuck are we going to do then? Kill ourselves before he gets to us?" the oldest shouted. The raised voice caused Rina to flinch, sidestepping closer to Jungkook. Her discomfort with the voice was enough for him to finally speak up.

"That'd probably be the wisest thing to do," Jungkook said, exhaling at the stupidity of the men in front of him.

The hyung that was causing the commotion nearly tripped over himself when he realized that Jungkook was standing within listening distance. He avoided eye contact while the oldest hyung, despite his better judgement, decided to handle the situation.

"He's high off his ass, Kook. Don't mind him," the oldest said. Jungkook simply blinked at him in response.

"High?" Rina asked, turning to look up at the younger boy.
