Bewitched

PROLOGUE

Hindi pa ako nakaka-tayo sa pagkakabagsak gawa ng pagsabog malapit sa building na kinalalagyan ko nang may panibago nanamang pagsabog ang nangyari dahilan nang pagtilapon ko sa panibagong kwarto. I gasped in pain but I need to endure this agony kasi wala namang magagawa kung iiyak ako rito at itatanong kung bakit ba 'to nangyayari sa'kin. I'm already useless kaya hindi pwedeng iiyak pa ako dahil wala akong magawa, it will only worsen the situation I have.

"Ah, I found a food! Finders keepers!" Rinig kong saad ng isang babae na pula ang mata at puting-puti ang kutis, bampira. Ang rason ng mga pagsabog.

There's already a thick wall protecting this colony but somehow it didn't surprise me when vampires found this, after all they're running out of livestock. Humans are very hard to find outside of colonies because it was the rules of humans to not go outside or go beyond the barrier, the said walls, it was for everyone's safety but it looks like this peace won't last long, just like now, nahanap kami. I guess they're that desperate to find their 'food' since it's been a very long time when vampires raided this colony.

I tried to stand up to escape death and even though the pain crawls throughout my body everytime I take a step, I still have to do it but even before I could escape from it lumipad nanaman ako papunta sa kabilang kwarto.

"There's no point of escaping, little human." Mapang-asar na saad ng babaeng bampira, "Just give up and be my livestock, I'll even give you food and take care of you." And her creepy laugh echoes throughout the room.

As I scan my surounding, trying to find a weapon I could use to this lowly creature who lives through the blood of humans like a parasite, I recognized the room I'm in. I smirked and immediately stand up and run off to the other room.

As I open the door, an eerie atmosphere welcomed me. The room was shaped like circle and in every space it has, there placed different types of weapons that is waiting for their owner. I tried every single of them but even before I could touch them naku-kuryente na ako, just like before.

"This is not really the time to be picky, guys." Kinakabahan na sabi ko at lumipat sa isa para muling mag-try but then I already heard her voice near me.

"Caught you." Nakangiting bulong n'ya sa likod ng tenga ko but it was my lucky day, too unfortunate for her.

I touched the last weapon which didn't violently react to my touch unlike the others and even before I become food for this parasite, I aggresively turned around and points the sword at her.

"Whatchu gonna do? Probably swing it like a child." Her laugh echoes around the room making the atmosphere more creepy as it it already.

"Why are you not working? Work!" Pabulong na sigaw ko sa espada na hawak ko but it didn't move nor magically react like it was supposed to be. "Come on, let me deal with the contract later! I'm in a dire situation! Please understand!" Pagmamakaawa ko sa espada na hawak ko.

"Oh my, look at how pitiful this girl is! Her sword doesn't even work!" Her laugh again bounds off through the walls but the sword I'm holding didn't even budge, not even sensing the danger I'm in.

"Please! I'll do everything! I can be your slave if you want!" And just like that, the sword magically worked as if I said something magic.

"Human, I shall grant your wish but in return you'll be my slave just like you said." A handsome baritone voice illuminates the whole room

and thus this is how my journey begins.
