I'll never know at led me here to you
It might have been my wish upon a star
I only know that the love light beamed from your eyes so true
And somehow things just out of reach no longer seem so far
Thoughts of you bring my heartfelt joy to me
In sunshine or showers one may
Happily I'll follow anywhere on lead

Be mine through time~ Song legacy

Edward Cullen, age 24

I never thought this is how I'd be living at the age of 24. As a teenager I always dreamt of pursuing my music career. Well I guess fate had another plan for me.

They're dead.Carlisle and Esme. My parents are dead. They have been for a while, with no one to bring money in, the bailiff's kicked me out, selling all my stuff. Not that I minded, all I really needed was a few pieces of clothing.

What I really wanted was a picture of my family. It was a constant reminder of them and it brought me hope. My parents only wanted one child, so they spoiled me rotten. "Eddie! What's up?" James joked as he took a drag from his cigarette. He stole that cigarette from a bachelor pub last night. I shook my head and ignored him.

I live on the streets with my pal, James. James is one crazy but funny guy. He's a laugh but, he could also be a pain in the ass when it came to splitting the food. He's very protective of himself, and sometimes couldn't give a damn about me. "Spare some change madam?" I asked to the woman walking by. She simply shook her head and kept walking. I sighed and sat back on the floor.

So I use what I can. I charm the girls on the streets, begging for money to survive at least another week of this hell, and so I can shut James up for a little bit.

I just hope. Hope one day that a miracle will come along...
