Chapter 2: The question

Chris' POV
My heart was beating so fast. I needed to ask her. I really liked her. I don't know if she felt the same way. What if she says no? What if she hates me?
"So I wanted to ask you.." I said. It took a deep breath.
"I really like you and I want to take you out on a date. Scarlett...will you go on a date with me?" I asked. My heart felt like it was beating out of my chest. I can't believe I just asked her. She stared at me with shock on her face. I mean...I understand why. I just asked her out.
"I would love to." She said with a smile on her face. I looked into her beautiful green eyes and smiled. She looked amazing. Her platinum blonde wavy hair a little past her shoulders. Her smile made me want her so bad. I just felt so whole when she said yes. My heart was beating so hard, I was beyond ecstatic.
"Okay. I think we should go on our date after premiere week, so we can just relax after a hectic week. Sound good?" I asked. I wanted to make sure that was okay with her. I just want her to be happy.
"Sounds good!" She said with a huge smile. Maybe she does feel the same way about me.

We hugged and she walked me out. As soon as she shut the door, I put my head down and just smiled. I drove away to my house and I got a call from Anthony Mackey. Of course he knew I liked her. How could he not know?

Scarlett's POV
As soon as Chris left, I closed the door and did a silent scream and victory dance. I can't believe I just got asked out by the man who I cared for so much. I really hope this date leads to something more. I am so happy, so I decide to FaceTime Elizabeth.

"Hello" she said.
"GIRL GUESS WHAT JUST HAPPENED!!!" I practically yelled with a huge smile.
"WHAT???" She asked with so much enthusiasm. She really wanted to know.
"CHRIS JUST ASKED ME OUT!!!" I said. I was yelling and jumping up and down.
"OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE IT. ARE YOU SERIOUS???" She said. She was so happy for me. I could tell.
"Yeah. He was so sweet and cute about it. He said we would go out after premiere week. I just am so freaking happy right now. I can't believe what just happened." I said. I couldn't describe how happy I was.
"I am so happy for you. Ooooooo...wait... what if you guys have sex afterwards?" She said a little bit scandalous.
"LIZ!!! I can't believe what you just said. That is NOT going to happen." I said. I can't believe she just said that. I mean...what if we do? That wouldn't be so bad. Right?
We were both laughing at what Elizabeth said.
"I gotta go. Talk to you later bae" she said and made a kissy noise.
"Kk. Love you" I said.

She hung up and I just sat there still thinking about Chris. He has been there for me more than anyone. He was my shoulder to cry on when I need him. I felt so protected when he hugged me. I felt so loved. Finally I feel safe knowing how he feels. I want this to go somewhere. I hope he does too.
