------------

Akaashi took out his set of keys. Two keys and a keychain of a brown owl clinked against the doorknob as he unlocked the front door.

Finally, they were home.

The second they walked into their house, Bokuto ran up to his room with the door shutting behind him.

Akaashi walked over to the book shelf in the living room and picked out a book. "Lone" was spread across the cover of the book he had chosen. He set the book down on the couch and went upstairs to change into his pjs.

------------

Time flown by and it was already 2am.

Akaashi was sitting on the couch reading a book, occasionally grabbing a strawberry wafer out of the bag next to him.

As he flipped through the the pages, he kept getting increasingly tired.

He was about to pass out when he heard a door open and footsteps walking down the stairs.

"Oh. Ahh hello Bokuto-san." Akaashi wiped his eyes with his sleeve trying to wake himself up. "What are you doing up?"

"I'm kinda hungry." Bokuto mumbled.

"I have strawberry wafers if you want some." Akaashi offered.

"Do you mind if have some? They sound good." Bokuto walked over to the couch and sat down.

"Yeah, of course." Akaashi handed Bokuto the open bag of wafers. The scent of artificial strawberry made Bokuto even hungrier.

Akaashi decided to resume reading his book. He was getting pretty invested into learning how the main character would survive such a terrible event.

"Whatcha reading?" Bokuto asked as he put a wafer into his mouth.

"Lone." Akaashi answered.

"What's it about?"

"It's about a boy trying to fight his way through a corrupt school system and..." Akaashi started to ramble on and on about how good the book was.

Bokuto just sat there and listened.

"Sorry for talking so much.." Akaashi looked away embarrassed.

"Nono it's ok! I enjoy it when you talk, you're very smart and good with wording things!" Bokuto cheerfully said to ease Akaashi concern.

"Ah.. Thank you, I guess. Anyways, I'm gonna start reading again."

"Okie doki! I'm gonna continue snacking!"

------------

Akaashi's eyes were starting to feel heavy and his yawns were starting to become frequent.

He looked over to his right and Bokuto was still sitting next to him enjoying his snacks. He didn't mind falling asleep right then and there.

All the sudden out of no where, Akaashi's head leaned against Bokuto's left shoulder. Silently earning a surprised look from Bokuto. "Oh.. uh goodnight, Akaashi."

Akaashi peacefully slept on Bokuto's shoulder for the rest of the night. Bokuto decided to just sleep there too. He didn't mind sleeping next to Akaashi. After all, Akaashi was the guy that he liked.

Bokuto grabbed the throw blanket off the top of the couch, covering them both and then rested his head on top of Akaashi's head. Slowly falling asleep.
