Everyone loves a treat now and then and did you know that Yautja's love sugar canes.
But they never knew what the plant was called.
Yautja's have a similar human diet.
Protein, vitamins, water, salt and even sugar.
Thousands of years ago, one Yautja came across the sugar canes while he was on a hunt, the sweet smell of the bizarre plant attracted him too it.
He couldn't understand why it gave out such an attracting smell.
He broke a piece off and decided to chew on it. The crunching bark was like eating a thin bone but the inside was the tasty sweetness of sugar!
He couldn't help but eat more and more. He noticed it gave him a lot of energy and it helped him deal with pain while handling his wounds.
After his hunt he collected as many as he could carry back to his ship, he shared them out to his leader and elder.
Their reactions were awarding as they picked up another cane and savoured the delicious sweetness.
They shared the new discovery to the Grand council and even they were happy with the new food addition.
Over the years they studied the plant, learnt to harvest it, care for it and see what else it could be useful for.
The leaves of the planet was a great strengthen material for Yautja's bandages.
Time went on and the treat was known as 'the sweet stick.'
It's used as an Yautja chocolate and it's great to bribe young pups to do their training and studies.
Who knew one little discovery from a curious hunter could make a big difference.
