Apples

The apple's skin was slowly torn apart,

My teeth gnawing on the sweet, tangy flesh,

The juices of its sorrow dribble down my chin,

I moan in satisfaction,

A symphony of crunches fill the air,

The ruby complexion turning pale,

As I drain the life,

Energy coursing through my veins,

Restoring what has been lost.
