A Song for You pt. 2

Here's pt. 2!!

Outside POV

Willie didn't go back to his apartment at night because he wanted to sleep in the same bed that had Alex's unique smell. He read Alex's song every night before he went to bed and every morning when he woke up. It never got old to him. On the back of the paper, in the bottom corner, Alex had scribbled down "I love you so very much. You're my one true love." When Willie first read this it filled him with so much joy but it also made him sad because he couldn't say it back in the moment. They had never said "I love you" to each other and Alex was the one to write it.

Willie had forgotten when the last day of the band's tour was and he hadn't bothered to look it up online either.

It was night, and Willie had gone out for a stroll. I stopped and sat at the bench where he and Alex talked the first time they met. He pulled out the song from his pocket and read it. He folded it back up and looked up at the stars. A single tear fell down his cheek. His head fell. It had felt like forever since he had seen Alex. All of a sudden he heard a voice, that soothing, loving voice he loved and missed, softly singing "I love you so very much. You're my one true love." Willie looked up and there standing was Alex. Alex was smiling and Willie got up and engulfed him in a hug. Alex wrapped his arms around Willie, squeezing tight, hoping to never let go.

"I love you too!" Willie said, against Alex's shoulder. "I missed you so much."

"I missed you too," Alex said, pulling away to hold Willie's face in his hands and pull him in for a kiss.

Willie pulled away, letting the kiss linger, and held Alex's hands. "I love your song. I read it every day. I hope you're okay with the fact that I always slept over at your place."

"Anytime you want." Alex smiled.

Willie pulled him back in for another hug. "You wanna go back to your place? You look pretty tired."

"I'm not tired." Alex pouted, lightly punching Willie's upper arm.

"I think that you couldn't get any sleep because I wasn't by your side."

"Shut up."

"You know I'm right."

Alex glared at Willie and Willie smiled. He pulled Alex in from the side and they walked back to Alex's apartment. The two got ready for bed and finally slept well being in each other's arms again.
