Lavi's POV

I linked my hand into Allen's as we arrived at gramps tent. I looked up seeing black silk fabric dangling from a golden metal bar spread out like a tent.

Timacampy suddenly flew from Allen's head to the peak of the golden bar and sat there.

"Huh? Timacampy what are you doing?" asked Allen.

"I think he's keeping guard or something, just leave him be." I said tugging Allen inside. Road following close behind.

"Hey gra-"

A flying foot came out of nowhere and connected straight to my jaw but almost too close to my eye. I flew backwards and landed on the ground with a soar on my cheek.

"Goddamit panda! What the hell was that even for?" I yelled.

"Where have you been? I told you to get here earlier to help me out with these boxes!" he exclaimed.

"I was trying too but I ran into a few people as you can see!" I shouted, pointing towards Allen and Road. They had the most puzzled expression on their faces.

He turned around and squinted his eyes at them. "I see."

I got up and brushed the dust and dirt off my shirt and jeans. I walked over to Allen and Road with my arm behind my head.

"This is the old panda I was telling you about earlier."

"Oh. Nice to meet you I'm Allen Walker." Allen said as he walked to him.

"I'm bookman. Nice meeting you also Mr.Walker." he extended his hand and shook Allen's.

"Yeah yeah and I'm Road, but that has nothing to do with you." She said.

"Oh really? Say, do you wouldn't know a guy named tyki mikk would you?" asked bookman.

"And if I do?"

"Nothing, just curious."

"Well, I do. We work together occasionally."

"I see, well if you happen to see him tell him I said I'm looking for him." asked bookman.

"alright, I will. But of course not free so I'm expecting something in return." smirked Road.

"How about more of those suckers you seem to have in your mouth and a free fortune?"

"Deal!" she exclaimed.

"Well then, how about we all go inside then?" The panda said as he began walking inside the dark lit area. We followed in after him.

BAM!

I faceplanted myself onto the ground near the chairs.

I heard Allen trying to hide his laughter.

"Shut up! Hey panda how come you always leave these things around huh? After I've tripped over them about 5O times already."

"Because when I do you always get them back out." He said as he sat down on the main chair, folding his legs. "Besides, I shouldn't have to pick up after you anyways."

"Yeah whatever." I mumbled.

"Here Lavi I'll help you up." Allen reached out his hand and I took it.

"Thanks Allen." I said with a smile as I dragged him over to the bench where we sat. Road was already there looking bored.

"So gramps I know I was supposed to come earlier but like I told you I ran into these 2 and kanda. By the way, you know he actually tried to cheat? It was hilarious but Allen here proved him wrong and got him dunked." I rambled as I noogied Allen's head.

"Oh, is that so? That kanda is always grouchy." said bookman.

"You're one to talk." I smirked, "but there's also something else I wanted to ask you."

"What's that?"

"Have you seen a lot of people here lately? Its been 2 hours and 15 minutes and usually its packed by now. I don't understand. Its almost like its barren or something." I asked.

"Yeah same here, I haven't sold anything more but a couple funnel cakes and its usually a hot spot." said Allen.

"Yes, now that you've mentioned it. I haven't seen that many people here at all." said bookman, "although, I did see someone new around here. I know there's new people that move here every year and you're going to see new faces. However, he had a really odd arua around him."

"What did he look like?" asked Allen.

"He was tall, and wore a long dark coat. I couldn't really see his face because it was hidden good. But I think I saw some of his hair that had white at the tip and the rest was black. He looked pale too." described bookman.

"Oh, you mean krory? I know him. Although I don't understand why he would be here." suddenly said Road.

"Why's that" I asked.

"Well, he doesn't live over here and doesn't like social outings like a carnival." explained Road, "but I did see him walking around earlier while I was finishing cross's job. I didn't talk to him though."

"He might know something. It wouldn't hurt to ask right?" asked Allen.

"I don't see why not. But I don't know if he'll be of much use though." said Road.

"Okay so we're just gonna go search for some mysterious guy huh? sounds like a mystery. How exciting." I said with an evil smile.

"Lavi no. Don't go getting any ideas okay? Were just gonna go talk to him is all." said Allen.

"Yeah yeah. This should be fun! See ya gramps were gonna go on a mission~" I said cheerfully as I grabbed Allen's hand and proceeded to run out the entrance.

Long time no see eh? I wonder what krory has to do with all of this. I also wanted to change how i was originally going to with this story. Give it more of a plot i guess. I hope you guys don't mind. Anywho thanks for reading and sorry it took me so long to update. Til next time darlings~
