Making A Move

Y/N POV:
I was recently invited to a bonfire party at my close friend Ashley's house in Miami. Her backyard was the beach! She told me that Ethan and Grayson were coming. The Dolan brothers were family friends with Ashley so they were close. I talked to them here and there but I wouldn't exactly say that I was close to either of them. Although, I did have a sweet spot for Grayson, He's so attractively muscular and so handsome. I seemed to get along better with him than Ethan too. Now that I think of it, it sounds like I have a crush on him! Maybe I do? Well, I'm going to be seeing him tonight at Ashley's place so I'll wait until then to figure out how I feel. I'm not sure he'll even like me back anyway.

At The Bonfire Party (Ashley's Place)
I took an Uber to Ashley's house, I knew I was going to be drinking and she said I was welcome to stay over so that's what I was going to do. I'll catch an Uber the next morning. I got out of the car and the first thing I saw was a massive White House standing before me. I walked up to the door, Ashley greeted me.

Ashley: "Y/N YOU LOOK AMAZING! Where did you get this dress from???"

Y/N: " Aww thank you babe! I've had it for while! It's been sitting in my closet, I think I got it from an online store."

Ashley: "Gosh, you have to let me borrow it!"

Y/N: "Any time Ash!"

I was wearing a short pink, spaghetti strap, silk dress. Not going to lie, it was super hot and I had no idea what to wear! I wanted to look cute but didn't want to get sweaty so I opted for this. I felt so over dressed but even Ashley was wearing an open back dress. That made me feel a little better.

Ashley gave me a tight hug and grabbed my hand to introduce me to the group of guys playing beer pong in the kitchen. There were five guys around the table and my oh my, those were some hot college guys alright. I mean, they all look like freaking athletes!

Ashley: "Y/N this is Jeremiah, Bailey, Hunter, Joe and Reece."

They all greeted me so politely. Jeremiah, went for me hand and kissed it. That sent goosebumps throughout my body making me blush and smile uncontrollably. And he was so freaking cute too. Jesus Christ.

GRAYSONS POV:
I had my eye on her ever since she walked through the door. I was sitting on the stairs directly opposite the kitchen where the dudes on my football team were playing beer pong. I've known y/n for a few years now. We aren't super close but that's only because I don't see her outside of school like Ashley- Our families go way back and she's like my sister. I'm sitting here looking at y/n just now noticing how much the colour pink complements her skin tone. She's fucking beautiful. Her hair, her skin, her body, her personality. Literally everything. I've had a thing for her ever since Ash introduced me to her back in middle school. I don't think Y/n knows that though. No one knows. I've never actually told anyone. I'm scared y/n won't like me. She's said before she's not into football players. Maybe she thinks we're dickheads. The typical stereotype. But that wasn't going to stop me from making my move.

Jeremiah went to kiss her hand, trying to act like he's such a gentleman. It made my blood boil. Ethan noticed me clenching my jaw at it.

Ethan: "dude, calm down. You might break your teeth from clenching your jaw so hard like that."

I had enough of those idiots trying to flirt with her so I got up and walked over to y/n. I'm not going to be shy anymore, I'm gonna go for it.

"Hey y/n, you look beautiful. How are you?"

Y/n: "Omg. Hey Grayson! I'm good and yourself? I haven't seen you in while!"

"Yeah I know I've been so busy with training. But besides that I'm doing great. I didn't know you were coming tonight, I wish ash would've told me so I could have put on my lucky underwear"

Y/n: "hmmm, why do you need any luck?"

Before I could give her my smart remarks Ashley asked if she would like a drink. She said yes. I didn't know she was the drinking type. Hm, interesting.

Ashley: "okay guys, the bonfire is lit! Let's move this party outside!"

Everyone started walking to the back of the house, down to the beach. There was a massive bonfire going. Loud, banging music and lights. There was picking blankets and logs around the bonfire for people to sit too. Ashley went to use the bathroom, it was just y/n and I. I wanted to ask y/n if she wanted to walk down together.

"Y/n do you wanna start walking down?"

Y/n: "Yes, sure! Ash said she wanted to get changed as well so she'll be awhile. Let's go!" BBB

We made it down to the beach and sat next to each other by the fire, it was cozy. I was enjoying it. We were having a good chat about each other's lives. I realised how much I love talking to her. She's got such a captivating energy about her that I love.

Y/N POV:
Grayson and I were getting along so well, holy shit. He's been giving me literally all his attention this whole night. We've been talking and talking for so long now. It's so much fun. I think I actually really like him. He might like me too, I guess. He's been Flirting with me this entire time. Also, he's sitting really close to me too. He smells so delicious, ugh!

Jeremiah was trying to get everyone's attention.

"Yo! If anyone wants to play truth or dare come sit around the fire now! If not then fuck off I don't care hah."

I looked at Grayson and smiled with raised eyebrows to indicate if he wants to play or not. He pierced his lips together and shrugged his shoulders,  "eh why not." he replied and gave me a grin.

Grayson: "okay I'll go first, who wants to give me a dare!"

I just looked at him and giggles to myself as he stood up acting all cocky. Ethan raised his hand and yelled "I DARE YOU TO KISS Y/N!"

My stomach dropped and so did my jaw. I didn't know what to think. Holy crap. Grayson looked to me and sat back down.

Grayson: "only if y/n is okay with that"

So now everyone was looking at me and chanting "do it do it do it" I could feel the pressure. But I also really wanted to kiss Grayson I just wasn't expecting to do it I front of all these people! I nodded and indicated to Grayson that I was okay with it and everyone went quite.

He leaned in, his forehead touching mine. His hand came up to my face, cupping my cheek gently. His lips brushed over mine. I could feel his breath against my lips. As I took one deep breath in from my mouth, his lips were intertwined with mine. He kissed me like I've never been kissed before, so passionately. It lasted almost 10 seconds but it felt like forever, I wanted to stay like that for awhile but it was only a dare! And everyone was staring! He pulled away and I couldn't help myself from smiling. He had a massive grin across his face too. I was surprised he didn't hesitate to do any of that, he was so confident. I guess that was him making his move.
