Becca's POV
It was the last Wednesday of 8th grade. I was truly going to miss this grade. But I'm also excited to go to high school, I guess. Well today the whole school is going to the beach, since it's only a couple blocks away. Right now, everyone is ready to take off. After a matter of time the school started walking to the beach. Our classes all walked together, but Skye, Ann, and Veronica aren't in the same class as me which sucks. So instead I walked with my friend Jen. The whole way there was about how this boy named James likes me and wants to ask me out. Like come on, if he likes me, why doesn't he say it to my face. Anyways, she has been saying that he did ask me out and what she thinks I should say. She wants me to say yes, but I don't know. My step sister Julia likes James so I don't know what I should say. He is cute and funny, but it's a hard choice. Even if I did say yes, Julia will get mad at me and tell my dad. Maybe is she didn't find out. We finally got to the beach after like 7 minutes or so and every one was putting their stuff down on the sand, so I did the same.
"Becca are you coming?" Veronica asked me.
"Ya." I said and started heading towards the water. We all just swam in the water without a care in the world until Jen came up to me and saying the same thing what she said when we were walking.
"I don't know Jen."
"He really likes you."
"Then why doesn't he say it to my face."
"You know how he is, he is scared because you might say no."
"Ok, my answer is.......................
