Chapter eight

On Sunday morning, Enny went for a walk and bumped into BJ.

“Hey BJ, what’s up?” Enny turned down her music playing through her ear phones.

“Hey Enny, I was just getting some morning sunlight. You know vitamin D is really good for you.” They both laughed. “I live just there.” BJ pointed to his house right in front of them.

          “Nice.”

“What’s up with you?” He asked Enny.

“Taking a walk down the street then I’m going to study for my two exams which are on the same day, tomorrow.” Enny answered.

“Cool, I could help you study. Be your study partner although I’m done my exams.” BJ replied.

“Thanks, that’ll be really nice but I’m studying with Sasha and Adam only if you’ll like to join?” Enny replied.

          “Sure; when?” BJ asked.

“If you’re not busy then you can come now.”

“Okay let me grab my books and I’ll be with you.” He said entering his house.

“Okay, I’ll wait for you.” Enny replied.

Sasha was already waiting for Enny at the door of Adam’s house which was where they planned on studying together.

“Hey guys, come in. Hey BJ.” Adam welcomed them in.

          “Thanks.”

          “Thanks.”

          “Thank you.”

Adam went up to his room to get his books so they could go to his back yard and study.

“Hey everyone.” Hilary started as they went outside. “I know you.” Hilary continued as she pointed to Enny, “But I don’t know you and you.” Pointing to Sasha and BJ.

“I’m Sasha and he’s BJ.” Sasha answered.

“Nice to meet you.” BJ added.

“Okay let’s start with Science and get it out of the way.” Sasha picked up her science notes.

The five of them all got along well. BJ had to leave in the afternoon to go pick up his grand mum and then give his grandparents lunch.

Sasha had to leave by evening to clean up her room.

“I’ve got to go soon but can you just explain something quick to me?” Enny asked as she flipped the pages of her math note book.

          “Okay sure.” Adam answered.

As Adam was explaining, Hilary was glaring at Enny and Enny could see her.

When Adam was done and Enny had packed up her things to leave, Hilary offered to walk her out.

“Can I walk you out?” Hilary asked.

“It’s fine, I-“ Enny was interrupted by Hilary.

“It’ll be lovely to see where you live, don’t you think?”

“But-“ Enny tried to speak again.

          “Common Enny,” Adam begged.

“Alright.” Enny smiled nicely at Hilary.

When they both got out, Hilary turned to Enny and started,

“I never want to see you hanging around with my Adam. He’s no longer yours, I’m his girlfriend now.” Hilary smiled in a mean way.

“Are you threatening me?”Enny asked quite calmly.

“No, I’m just trying to let you know that I never want you or your friends around Adam again, okay? Thanks, I knew you’ll understand.” Hilary smiled and walked in the door.

“What was that all about?” Enny asked herself and walked home.
